**MEDICAL PLEA-FAT BOY** Phoenix AZ.

Look who it is...our favorite tri-pod Fat Boy....now called Clyde! We have been helping this precious boy and his human who needed a touch of human kindness and support.

As you all remember FB Clyde had a serious leg injury and sadly had to have the leg amputated. He has been R&R-ing with some amazing fosters. He is not ready to join his human again as you can see by the photos. Poor baby developed a pretty serious skin irritation and got taken to the vet ASAP.

He needed some medicated shampoo and some oral meds to help him start to heal. You can see after just one bath how much better he feels. He LOVED the towel dry portion of the spa treatment.

His vet visit and meds came to $363.00. You all know that every little bit helps us to help those in need....all donations go directly to the care of the puppers! If you can take the time to spare a dime (or a dollar) Clyde would be eternally grateful!

**TERRIFIC THELMA** Age 2.3yrs Phoenix AZ.

My apologies to Thelma for this long over-due welcome post. This adorable Maltese mix weighing it at just 8lbs was found as a stray in Goodyear in January.

When she was found she was horribly matted and really needed to decompress from her survival adventure. As you can see her hair has grown back and she is adorable! She is also fully vetted, UTD on shots, altered, microchipped....and ready for her fur-ever home!

Once Thelma feels comfortable with you, she is a total snuggle-bug! She needs a home that will give her time to settle in on her time schedule (usually just a couple of days) and she will be your
best-est friend. She in in foster with medium and small dogs, she is OK with wearing clothes, is potty trained, quiet and loves being held.

**PEPPY PEGGY** Age 1.7yrs Phoenix AZ.

Please help us welcome Peggy to the FTP family. Peggy and some of her little friends were living life as backyard babies.....we were able to secure their owners surrender and give them a chance at a loving and safe life.

Meet Peggy, female Chihuahua weighing in at about 9.3lbs. She is a bit nervous at first, like all of her siblings, but she is understanding that human hands can have yummy treats to give!

She is learning her food does not have to be scrounged for and she will always have fresh food and water each day. They are learning that they are welcomed inside the home and have their own soft warm beds. She has learned how to use the supervised doggie door; she is being fostered with both big and small dogs. She can be kinda vocal at first, poor girl is just timid/scared but with patience will warm up to love.

She is altered, UTD on shots, fully vetted and microchipped.

She is looking for a family that will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. As you can see, she is still a bit camera shy.
(Siblings include: Peppa, Pixie, Paulina, Patty & Patsy)

**TOP-DOG TRIXIE** Age 6mos Phoenix AZ.

How has this gorgeous girl not been snapped up yet?

Trixie is a 6mo old mix of we think Australian Cattle Dog and Siberian Husky. She is now fully vetted, spayed, UTD on shots and microchipped.

She is great in the car and has learned the doggie door. Trixie is in a foster home with big and small dogs and gets along great!

**DASHING DIEGO** Age 8mos Phoenix AZ.

Please help us welcome this adorable little dude Diego. Diego was found running in the Laveen area with 3 friends and were rounded up and trapped by our friends at HARTT (AZ trapping) Community Group.

Our little guy is about 8mos, weighs in at 9lbs and is basically fully grown. He has been fully vetted, altered, UTD on shots and microchipped. He is dog social with all sized dogs and loves humans. He is getting used to the car, but it is still a bit scary for him. He has learned to use the supervised doggie door and has a really sweet personality.

We believe him to be a mix of Carin Terrier and Scottish Terrier. He has a beautiful black coat with white markings.

There are times when providing long term medical support is a must. Fat Boy is one of those situations. 501c3 Rescues run off donations so when the vet bills are high .. we bet and plea for help. For this kid, many have stepped up .. we do our best to thank them all. This THANK YOU for 2-fold, (1) DC Ranch Animal Hospital for the intimate care they continue to give this pup and (2) Two Pups Wellness Fund for footing the bill this visit. **OVERT OLIVER** Age 2yrs Phoenix AZ.

Oliver was found as a stray and one of our volunteers took him in. No family could be found so we are happy to provide a safe-haven for him. We gave him a name, a safe landing spot, full vet care and check-up, and the opportunity to find a fur-ever family!

We gave him the adjective "Overt" because it is plainly and readily apparent that he needs time and space to adjust to new surroundings. He does not keep his feelings secret and that needs to be honored and respected by a potential family.

He is the breed of dog everyone wants...a gorgeous Maltipoo....but it is about what Oliver needs and that is time to decompress and get comfortable in an unfamiliar environment with new people.

Oliver needs at least 3 days in a new home to really just be left alone, he does not want to be touched....we do not know what he has been through....but we have figured out what he needs.

He needs "let me figure s*it out and settle in" time. Once he does, he's AH-mazing! He is clearly photogenic, loves his foster friends, loves to play fetch and chase the birds in the yard. Oliver is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped.

If you are looking for an immediate connection with a loveable lap-dog....Oliver is not for you. If, however, you are willing to put in the time, energy, compassion, love and understanding of Olivers needs....then he will make the most loyal and amazing fur-baby fur-ever.
