🌿🐱 If you’ve ever caught your cat nibbling on your houseplants—even when they have plenty of food and treats—you’re not alone!

✅ It’s actually normal for cats to show interest in plants!
They may love the taste or texture, feel a little bored, or be trying to soothe their stomach. Some kitties are just curious explorers with whiskers.

But be careful: not all plants are safe for cats. ❌ Common houseplants like lilies, tulips, and monstera can be toxic!

🪴 Want to help redirect your plant-loving feline? Try offering 𝗰𝗮𝘁-𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 like wheatgrass or catnip, and keep tempting toxic plants out of paw’s reach.

If your cat has eaten something you’re unsure about, don’t wait—𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗸 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 right away. We're here to help!

While on a well-deserved vacation in Cape San Blas, Florida, Dr. Keith got to witness something truly unforgettable—the release of seven rehabilitated sea turtles back into the ocean, thanks to the amazing work of the Gulf World Marine Institute! 💙

Among the turtles released:
🐢 2 Juvenile Green Sea Turtles
🐢 1 Juvenile Kemp’s Ridley
🐢 1 Adult Kemp’s Ridley
💚💚💚Kemp’s Ridley are the most endangered sea turtle species in the world - so this was truly special
🐢 3 Loggerheads

Sea turtles are Dr. Keith’s absolute favorite animal, so this moment was extra special for her—and even better, she got to experience it with her family. 🐢❤️

Help us give a warm welcome to Abby, one of our amazing new Veterinary Assistants here at the clinic! 💙 Abby has jumped right in, and as you can see, our four-legged patients are already obsessed with her snuggles 🐶💕

Here are 3 fun facts about Abby:
⚽ Her favorite sport is soccer—she even played into college!
🐻⚾ She’s a huge Chicago Cubs fan (go Cubbies!)
🎓 She’s currently pursuing a Biology degree at The Ohio State University and will graduate with her Bachelor of Arts and Science in Spring 2026!
