Hello friends and family. I wanted to share the last photo of Mom and me, celebrating her Mother’s birthday with Gramma Wi***es favorite-root beer floats.
I wanted to let you all know Mom’s specific instructions for her final wishes have been carried out, despite some technical issues.
Her estate affairs are also in order, all affairs are being tended to by moms chosen power of attorney, my sister Sandy.
At no point in time were Moms affairs neglected, nor were her earthy remains, as sadly became a rumor due to our severe grief requiring some peace while mourning. Sandy would never abandon her tasks, nor our dear mothers remains.
Please don’t worry, Mom chose Sandy for the task because she is the strongest, most capable, and most likely to adhere to Moms wishes.
Moms obituary is written, submitted and already paid for and will appear in the paper on Friday.
The fundraiser was set up alone by one of moms closest friends, our dear Colette who kindly insisted who need not bear the sudden costs alone, and gave a way for others to feel helpful when there’s nothing else that can be done. She herself set up the fundraiser for Cody’s estate-it was not set up by or for benefits of any of us kids, as has unfortunately been suggested. Anyone who knows and loves Andrews knows she didn’t raise her kids like that.
Colette asked us if we would like to receive the funds personally, and we had rather not, because we are used to helping others not receiving help. It’s difficult for the proud to accept help.
My brother Carl is still recovering at home, and being tended to by my older sister Sandy. No services are currently planned, we will be waiting until Carl is well.
