At just 3 months old, Camembert is a tabby kitten with a personality so delightful, it’s downright gouda. With her soft stripes, big curious eyes, and a dash of mischief, she’s the perfect recipe for happiness.

Camembert loves to chase toys, pouncing on imaginary mice, and climbing her way into your heart faster than you can say “cheddar.” But when the play session winds down, she’s all about the snuggles, curling up in your lap like the fluffiest brie you’ve ever met.

She’s already spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccinations so this little queen is ready to go home with you!

LONG TERM RESIDENT HIGHLIGHT: RONNIE
5 1/2 Years Old | Male | Hound & Pit Bull Mix

Ronnie has come such a long way at our shelter! When he first became a resident, he dealt with over a years' worth of unbridled energy. However, our staff looked past it all and saw the great dog Ronnie could be. So, with an additional year of training, including professional evaluations and guidance with Great Plains SPCA near Kansas City, Ronnie has completely transformed to a well behaved and loving dog!

His manners are amazing as he'll wait for you to open a door (not barrel through), can sit on command, and even shake! Ronnie now does great with an array of different visitors and has loved playing with our other shelter dogs; he is just looking for a home with on cats.

We’re on the hunt for measuring cups!

At the shelter, we use measuring cups every single day to portion out meals for our tenants. This not only makes sure each pet gets the right amount of food, but it also helps us reduce food waste.

If you have any extra measuring cups (all sizes welcome!) lying around your kitchen drawers, we’d love to give them a second life here at the shelter. ❤️

Got disco balls? We want them!

Did you know that hanging up disco balls actually helps deter flies and wasps? Turns out, they don’t like the sparkle as much as we do! 😎🪩✨

We’re on the hunt for small or medium-sized disco balls to hang around the shelter and keep our furry friends (and staff!) a little more comfortable outside. If you have one tucked away from a past party, prom, or dance floor moment, we’d love to give it a second life here at the shelter! 💃🕺

Bartholomew is a fantastic dogs that was just at the Ron's Supermarket Kid's Festival over the weekend. There he played with lots of kids and did great with other dogs onsite. He's already neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and is up to date on his vaccinations so he's ready to hop in the car with you to head on home!
