DOG: Freddie is a 10 month old, 40lb American Staffordshire mix. This sweet pup was picked up by Animal Control when they were notified that he was being targeted by a group of not so nice kids. You couldn't meet a sweeter boy. He loves people, but will hide behind your legs when he is afraid of other dogs or cats. Always kind and affectionate, Freddie just hasn't been exposed to some new things. His new home should be patient and enjoy showing Freddie all the wonderful things in the world he has missed. Freddie's soft amber colored eyes will warm your heart 🐶

CAT: This beautiful solid black domestic shorthair with the white chest, is Ladybug. This 4 year old kitty was surrender by her owner who just had too many animals. This pretty girl is mellow and easy to get along with. She has other feline friends where she is housed. Ladybug pretty much minds her own business and looks forward to being petted. You will love her big green eyes and charming demeanor. Stop by and meet this sweet girl today 😸

🐾 Wish List Wednesday! 🐾

Our adoptable kittens love joining us for pet therapy, school visits and community events — and they’re always a big hit! 🐱💛

To help keep them safe, secure, and cozy while they mingle with the public, we’re hoping to add a 35-48" portable playpen (or two) with a zipper top to our outreach supplies. It would make transport and setup so much easier for our volunteer team and more comfortable for the kittens!

If you’d like to donate a gently used one or possibly contribute toward the purchase, we’d be so grateful! You can find them on Amazon by searching “portable pet playpen with zipper top,” or feel free to message us for details.

This gorgeous 5-year-old black beauty may be small at just 7.5 pounds, but she has a heart full of love waiting to share.

Annabelle was an amazing mama to her litter of kittens, all of whom have already found their forever homes. Now, it’s her turn.
She’s a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’s as sweet as can be. If you give her just a little time, Annabelle will show you just how gentle and loving she truly is. ❤️❤️

Jade, Pine, (and Dottie) were out spreading smiles and collecting snuggles today at the Jackson Interfaith Shelter during a Pet Therapy visit! 🐶🐶🐶

At just 8 weeks old, Jade and Pine (retriever mix siblings) were a huge hit, and sweet Dottie worked her usual magic with her calm and loving nature.

We’re so grateful for our JCAS Pet Therapy Team and the difference they make.

Jade and Pine are currently available for adoption through the Jackson County Animal Shelter and are ready to bring joy to their future forever families.
