An excellent day at the Virginia Commonwealth Games horse show at Liberty!! It was hot, but it was fun. Great riding, excellent horses, helpful teammates. And a safe trip. Can’t ask for better than that! The good results are just a bonus.

Kelsey and Jackson- Champion, 1, 1, 3 in the Gold medal in the Low Hunters. Jackson was perfect as usual

Jamison and Z- 2, 6 in the TB Hunters and an excellent 3’ school for them before Lexington National in a couple weeks

Kelsey and Mags- 1, 4, 5 in the TB Hunters and if the horse show gave out the bronze medals, would have been bronze. Mags had a fantastic 2nd trip win and was perfect as always.

Katie and Finn- 2, 3, 3, in the special children’s, 3 in a large jr Eq 15-17, and 3 in the Liberty medal. Katie also would have been bronze if the show gave it out. Katie and Finn accomplished some big goals today and came back so strong for a minor setback a few weeks ago. Very proud.

Sophia and Maeve- 3, 4, 5 in the Intermediates and 6th in the adult eq. Maeve keeps getting better and better each show and she and Sophia are really finding their groove together. So proud of our western pleasure girl turned hunter princess!!

We are missing Jamison in our group shot, she took a load of horses home and had the evening chores done so I didn’t have to after a very long hot day! Big thanks to her and joey for that!

A great Day 2 at Memory’s Hill for the crew.

Avaya and Gadget- 5th in a big Jr Eq 14 and under and 4th and 6th in a big intermediate division.

Sophia and Maeve- 6th in a big intermediate division. Awesome job for Maeve’s first ride in a couple weeks.

Mac and Rain- 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 3rd in the Large ponies and 3rd in the Pony Medal. Some awesome riding in the handy and medal class.

Really proud of everyone this weekend. Long and hot, but fun and a lot of goals accomplished and good homework for next week.

Day 1 of Memory’s Hill Horse Show was a huge success!! The horses were amazing and everyone rode so well.

Jamison and Z had a clean sweep and champion in the TBs

Kelsey and Jackson- 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 4th, and Reserve Champion in the Low Hunters

Kacey and Rocky were FANTASTIC with some great ribbons in the Low Hunters. Rocky’s first time back at the horse show in almost 2 years. Kacey rode him perfectly!!

Back again today for day 2!!

What an awesome day at the Star City Horse Show at Green Hill Park. We had a blast. Thank you Kayleigh for a nice show. We are missing Ariel and her ribbons in the group and ribbon photo.

Kelsey and Jackson- 1st in the derby, champion, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd in the Low Hunters.

Katie and Finn- 6th in the TBs

Ariel and Gadget- 3rd, 4th, 5th in the Pony Pleasures

Avaya and Gadget- 4th in the Low derby, reserve champion, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd in the intermediates, and 6th in the Junior eq

Mac and Rain- 6th in the Low derby, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd in the Pony Hunters.

So proud of all the girls and the horses. Everyone was so good and we had a really fun day. Can’t wait to go back to this show again in October.

Katie and Finn- Reserve Champion, 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd in the Thoroughbred Hunters. Katie and Finns first tri color in a jumping division and first blue over fences, winning the handy round!! Finn is coming along so so nicely and Katie has done an excellent job on him!!

Kelsey and Magnolia- 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd. Baby Mags’ first time out this year and first time off the farm in about 10 months. AND first time at memory’s hill. She was perfect 🤩
