Is your pet having fun in the sun this weekend? ☀

This is Lincoln, and he was hospitalized with us earlier this month! Though this means that he couldn't run around as much as he wanted to, he certainly got some downtime outside and LOTS of attention from our staff.

For those pets that love to run, please make sure they always have shade and water nearby to relax (if they let themselves). Pets are also susceptible to heat exhaustion and heat stroke, so it's important to consider how this weather could affect them.

Look at this sweet little boy!

Koda is a 3-month-old Husky mix, and his puppy fur was in its prime at his first visit! Our entire team took turns sneaking snuggles (strictly professional, of course 😉), and he left us smiling the rest of the day.

Share a picture of your fluffy puppy in the comments to welcome Koda to Countrycare!

✨🎉✨ Congratulations to Jasper for placing 3rd in the "Little Legs Race" during Das Fest Wisconsin in Wilmont this past weekend. Mom, Marlynn, said "They had both dachshund and corgi categories---was super cute. He had a great day!"
Help celebrate Jasper's achievement by leaving a comment of congratulations below. 😀

Is anything really a bad habit if it looks this cute?

This is Venture and Maizy, and they have the best manners... except when we encourage them to jump up for a quick picture. Though their mom did a great job keeping them off, it's just too cute to not snap a pic!

What "bad" habit do you let your pet get away with?

Tucker was excited to show off the lipstick and nail polish he applied by himself 😆

This big Bernedoodle loves spending time on the farm, especially since it opens up a whole new set of things to get into! His latest victim was a livestock marker, a pastel/paint stick used to mark cattle, sheep, pigs, and other livestock. Since it is made with animals in mind, it's thankfully non-toxic in such small doses.

Though he did this makeover last weekend, he still had some of that pretty pink color on his nails to show off! 🩷

What does your pet love to get into that they're not supposed to?

Happy 6th Anniversary, Amie! 🎈

Anyone who has walked into Countrycare has most likely been greeted by Amie, our welcoming client care specialist. She is what communicates your thoughts, concerns, and questions to whomever needs to hear them, and then reports their response back to you. In other words, she keeps the show running!

These days, her time at home is still spent tilling away in her landscaping or snapping endless photos of her many beloved cats. Amie also works out as often as possible and even brings this energy to hiking and walking in scenic areas of other countries!

Veterinary reception isn't the easiest position out there, but you continue to do a remarkable job sharing information and helping everyone with ease. Your ability to help people feel comfortable even in difficult situations is a gift that is cherished by everyone who comes in. We love having you as a member of the Countrycare family!

Happy 6-Year Anniversary!

This is Josie and Ripkin, and they are 6-month-old Jack Russel Terrier littermates! Since they were new to the clinic in June, they are both in our Cutest New Face contest. So now it's time to see who wins between them, brother or sister.

Here is the link to our contest post! Take a look through it and vote for who you think should win 🩷💙

Don't you love this phase? 😍

This is Furik, and he came in at the perfect time for us to capture his last floppy ear! Time flies so fast with a puppy, so we're sure that both of his ears are fully standing now. We can't wait to watch him grow up and help him along his care journey!

If your dog had a flop phase, share a picture of it in the comments to join Furik!

Our Story

Countrycare Animal Complex, located in Green Bay, WI, has been serving pets and their people since 1998. We are dedicated to providing innovative and integrative veterinary care with compassion, respect and humility. We offer traditional and holistic services for dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, and reptiles.

In 2012, we created a non-profit organization to help pets in need after house fires and natural disasters. This organization is called C.A.R.E for Paws. Through C.A.R.E for Paws, we provide disaster relief kits to The Red Cross and create emergency evacuation bags for pet owners.

We celebrate and nurture the special bond between animals and humans. Our success is measured by the impact we have on each animal’s life.
