Love this combination!!
The story behind the scenes. 8 years ago I was paid $500 to take this horse. She was a hot mess everyone called “crazy”. She just needed us to trust her and wow what a great horse she’s become!❤️
Grateful for the kindness her previous owners showed willing to pay for her to go to a good forever home.

July 19th we picked up a thoroughbred who was extremely malnourished at another boarding facility. We’re happy with how well he’s doing! Pictures July 19 & tonight. We are proud of our exceptional feeding program for thoroughbreds consisting of dairy quality alfalfa & no more than 4 lbs grain daily. He has a ways to go but his owner is already able to lightly ride him again❤️

Congratulations!!
Bella started Ketch under saddle only two years ago as part of the 4-H C**t Starting Program. It has been an incredible honor to mentor and coach her throughout this journey. Her unwavering dedication, practicing six days a week along with lessons is a testament to her passion and drive. Bella consistently strives to do her very best—not just for herself, but for Ketch. This week Bella & Ketch competed at the Dakota County Fair and were awarded:

•Senior English Grand Champion
•Senior Western Grand Champion
•Senior Showmanship Grand Champion
•Grades 9+ Horse interview Grand Champion

Their outstanding accomplishments are the result of true teamwork, perseverance, and heart.

Four summers ago, our horse Blue scratched his eye resulting in a fungal infection. The fungal infection ravaged his eye and we treated it around the clock for 2 1/2 months. Fungal infections are much more common in the southern United States where it’s hot and humid. We thought he may lose his eye and the first sign things were going in the right direction are the pictures where it’s pink. Horses can get proud flesh on their eyeball. He’s been blind since with his eye looking blue due to scarring of the eye. In May, we started seeing his eye start to turn brown on the outside. Yesterday, his eye appears almost normal. Nothing short of a miracle.

Surviving a serious health scare with courage this year. Not able to ride for many months, through her courage Sarah came out stronger—now thriving with diabetes, she’s a true example of resilience and living life to the fullest. Back in the saddle heading to her first rated show with Indy seemed like a great way to celebrate 🎉. Way to go Sarah!!! Your Smile lights up the barn😊

Diamonds show debut with us! A few clean rounds & on to the jump off. We trashed the course a few times too. 🙄
Love this horse and how hard he tries. Ella is doing a good job riding him as he is a lot of horse!

Took Diamond to his first show:Stonegate Summer Classic! We are so proud of him & Ella’s outstanding riding. We’ve been working hard to develop his balance & hindquarters & definitely making progress. A long way to go with Diamond but happy so far. More show updates and pictures coming soon!

Enjoyable morning lesson beating the heat & enjoying the 4th. 🇺🇸
Kathy’s ponying a young thoroughbred with her steadfast horse Roy. Both Kathy & Roy are doing remarkably well! Roy developed a chronic lameness and walking is best so he’s loving his new sense of leadership teaching young horses skills on the trail. Kathy’s enjoying her expanded skill set and the challenge these horses bring and it’s definitely a WIN for the young horses!❤️
