Huge shout out to this team that went out and picked up pet food/supplies for us and Kibble Korner. They unloaded nearly 4,000 # of food that is used for fosters and for helping low income pet owners in Winnebago Co. Supplying pet food is a pet retention initiative to keep pets home and fed and not being surrendered due to financial hardship. Thank you to them and to Rescue Pack (go to their page by the tag above) for making this possible!

This is where your monetary donations go….purchasing pet food at a fraction of the cost of retail. We couldn’t feed those hungry pets, whose families and senior citizens have fallen on hard times without your help, so thank you to the Rescue Pack, and our community for your donations.

And here it is!!!!! We will be serving 150 (our biggest yet!) Winnebago County pets.

This is for:

* Winnebago Residents only (must have ID)
* Owners on Public Assistance- most have proof of Link, SSDI, SSI (able to log into ABE to show on phone, benefit statement)
* 2 Pets per address only
* Please do NOT BRING PETS AT 9am - you will get an appt time to come back starting at 12:30.

We realize that there are people not on assistance programs in need but we don’t have the capacity to serve as many people who need the help and need to have some requirements to manage resources

Our friend Maggie along with Kibble Korner volunteer Cheryl Dahl helped set up donated items at our resale shop located inside Pampered Pet Grooming.
The resale shop is located on the corner of North Main and Riverside Boulevard in Rockford, Illinois.

Maggie wears many hats in our community, and is a busy lady……volunteering at our local animal shelter, mentoring and offering her expertise in the animal community, is also a Master Gardener, and spent the day working alongside Cheryl, benefiting Kibble Korner.

Thank you Maggie, we appreciate all that you do.

Did you know that Kibble Korner Pet Food Pantry is the largest pet food pantry in Winnebago County and has fed our communities hungry pets for 16 YEARS!
We have teamed up with our 501(c)(3) partner the Rock River Valley Pantry, and with their help, continue to support our Winnebago County families and senior citizens in Rockford, Cherry Valley, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Roscoe, Rockton, and South Beloit!
