8 years young | Brussels Griffon Mix | Professional Snuggler ❤️

Henry is an adorable little guy with a big heart, an expressive face, and a playful personality!

After his beloved owner became ill and could no longer care for him, Henry found himself needing a new beginning. Now he’s ready to find his forever family! 🏡

🐶 A Little About Henry:

❤️ Age: 8 years young, with plenty of energy!

🐕 Dog Friendly: Gets along wonderfully with dogs of all shapes and sizes, especially playful younger females!

🚶 Loves: Neighborhood walks, playtime, and canine companionship.

🛋️ Favorite Activity: Curling up beside you on the couch for snuggles!

🏡 Potty Routine: Henry knows to go potty outside! Due to his previous owner’s illness, his routine became inconsistent, but he does very well with regular potty breaks and a consistent schedule.

💕 Personality: Happy, affectionate, playful, and full of love!

Henry has been through a big life change, but his sweet spirit hasn’t faded. All he needs now is someone to give him the love, stability, and forever home he deserves.

Meet Luna (4) & Coco (3)! 🥹 These sweet girls are sisters, but not littermates, and they’re looking for their forever homes.

Their family absolutely loves them, but because they have a medically fragile child, they’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to find the girls a home where they can get the attention they deserve. ❤️

Sally And Dewey update!
These two sweet seniors who are still looking for their forever home by the way together, are in a temporary foster home while they wait for another long-term temporary foster home to get back in town. At this age 12 and 14 years old, we sure hate to shuffle them around so much they've struggled enough emotionally with the passing of their mom. If you are in the Los Angeles area or one of the surrounding cities and would be interested in giving them a forever home together, please reach out to us. They've been waiting so long.

Thank you to all the kind people who have given so much of their time and energy to try to find these sweet seniors the home they deserve. We appreciate all of you.

This is their new temporary foster home. They've been in about a week and they're being really good babies.

Meet Luna and Coco. They are bonded sisters not siblings. Luna the beige one is three and Coco the brown one is four years old. They are healthy and looking for a home together if possible. They will remain with their owner until the proper local home in the Los Angeles area can be found.

SALLY & DEWEY NEED EACH OTHER. ❤️

Their mom passed away a few months ago, and her last wish was that Sally and Dewey stay together. After losing the person they loved most, they shouldn’t have to lose each other too.

Their current living situation is coming to an end, and they have nowhere to go.

If you’re in the Los Angeles area or surrounding communities and can give these two a loving, long-term home together, please reach out. Help us honor their mom’s final wish and keep Sally & Dewey together for the rest of their lives.

Tomorrow is Merlin’s big day. ❤️

After waiting almost a year because of ongoing skin infections, he’s finally cleared for the knee surgery he’s needed for so long.

This isn’t a routine surgery, it’s a complicated $13,000 procedure. Today based on his current x-rays, the price increased $4000 and there's just no way we can make him wait. We need your help.!

This beautiful nine-year-old baby was relinquished to the shelter! Can you imagine how these dogs feel when you turn and walk away and they've been there for you for nine years?? He's been there for two days. It's Fourth of July weekend. We've got to get them out. Anybody wanna give a home to a beautiful, senior boy?? He's at East Valley animal shelter. Let us know if you can help and we can help get him for you.!

Our big-headed boy Kodak officially joined the neutered club today! ❤️

People often ask why we waited until he was 3 years old. With some large and giant breeds, we choose to give them extra time to fully grow and develop before spaying or neutering whenever it’s appropriate.

Because we knew his family would keep him safe and never allow an accidental breeding, we were comfortable waiting until today.

Just look at that handsome head! 😍 He’s the best boy… although he’s not exactly thrilled with us at the moment. 😂

Sorry, sweet boy. We promise you’ll be feeling better soon! ❤️

Day One without you.. 😭

I’ve had this feeling all week.

The kind of feeling you try to push away because you don’t want it to be true.

My intuition kept telling me something was coming. I couldn’t shake it. The night before, I couldn’t sleep. I told my husband something felt wrong.

Yesterday, I know why.

Charlie is gone. 💔

For 13 years, he was part of every single day of my life. I work from home, so we were never apart. He was there through all of it. The good days, the hard days, the completely ordinary days that never seemed important at the time, but now mean everything.

When I look through photos, I don’t just see Charlie.

I see my life!

Thirteen years of mornings, routines, chaos, quiet moments, and moments I wanted to last forever!

The thing about loving a dog for that long is that they become woven into the fabric of your existence. They’re not part of your life.

They are your life!

And then one day they’re here.

And then they’re not.

I keep thinking about the last time I touched him. The last time I kissed his face. The last time I told him I loved him.

Not knowing it was the last.

Nights when the day gets quiet is what I’m dreading most.

Going to bed and knowing he won’t be there.

The absence feels impossible.

I want Just one more ordinary day.

One more morning together.

One more chance to tell him thank you.

I know grief eventually softens. I’ve lived through this before.

But for now, my heart is broken.

And the world feels very different without Charlie in it.

California Animal Rescue Services Thank you Sabine and CARES for making one of the hardest days of our life a bit easier. Your emergency care, kindness, and quick action spared our boy unnecessary suffering. 💕💕
