On Thursday afternoon, I was excited to help a repeat customer from three years ago with training her latest puppy. Let's meet Moon Pie, a five-month-old miniature Australian Shepherd who was simply adorable. We affectionately refer to Moon Pie as Pie. Pie was a typical puppy who would harass the other dogs in the home, did not know how to walk properly on a leash without pulling, and struggled to sit or stay in place; he also jumped on family members and the other dogs at inappropriate times. Now my owner has relearned the necessary skills and tools for effective control this amazing boy, Pie, is walking properly on the leash without pulling, sitting, and staying in place at a long distance and he's only jumping when it is approved. All training was completed without using food or treats for motivation.

On Monday afternoon, I was delighted to help another active-duty U.S. Air Force family in training; their latest addition is a 17 wks old miniature golden doodle named Peaches. Peaches was a typical puppy full of energy and joy. However, they have young children and needed her not to jump on them or anybody else; she was also difficult to walk on a leash without pulling and did not know how to sit or stay in place or at a distance. Now, Peaches who's a stunning girl is obeying her family nicely; she's walking properly as a lady without pulling on the leash, and she sits and stays in place and at a distance and no longer jumps unless permitted. Training was completed without using food or treats for motivation.

On Sunday evening, I was thrilled to help a stand-up guy who has a pair of stunning Corgis. Let's meet eight-year-old Chuck, brown and white in color. and five-year-old Beans, black and white in color. Both dogs reacted to the sight of other dogs by barking excessively; they struggled to walk properly on a leash without pulling, and it was uncertain whether they could stay in place and at a distance. Now, my owner has the tools and knowledge to control these energetic pups. Both dogs are walking smartly on the leash without pulling together or separately, as shown in the photos below; they are sitting and staying in place with distractions, and their reactive behavior toward other dogs has been addressed and curtailed. All training was completed without using any food or treats for motivation.

Sunday afternoon, I was pleased to help another amazing family, who are having serious difficulties with an aggressive 2 yr old dachshund named Koa, who would bark excessively and lunge at anyone who entered the home who wasn't a family member. (Not Good) Koa also needed to learn how to walk on a leash without pulling, sit and stay in place, and not jump on anyone unless it is allowed. Upon meeting Koa, I felt that he wanted to chew me up and spit me out, but with patience and perseverance, he learned otherwise. He soon came to understand that I had his best interests at heart and began to trust me. His aggressive attitude was addressed and curtailed. He's now walking properly on the leash, without pulling, sitting and staying in place, and at a distance. The whole family knows how to control and manage Koa to be a better dog in the home. All training was accomplished without using food or treats for motivation.

On Sunday morning, I was proud to assist another veteran, an active-duty United States Navy Seabee and builder, along with his bride of 4 years as they shared their recent addition to the family. Let's meet Sadie, an 8-month-old German Shepherd. Sadie was rescued from the SPCA of their hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania, two weeks ago when they were home on leave. Sadie was an active girl but jumped excessively when meeting with friends or guests in the home. She was difficult to walk on a leash without pulling; she did not know how to sit or stay in place or at a distance and would bark when she saw other animals. Now, without using food or treats for motivation, my couple can walk her without pulling on the leash; she's staying in place and at a distance as shown in the photos below, no longer jumping on anyone unless it's permitted, and her barking has been addressed and curtailed.

On Saturday afternoon, I was thrilled to assist another amazing couple who work in the insurance industry in recently training their one-year-old snoodle, half mini Schnauzer and half mini Poodle. Their dog, named Oreo, has only been with them for a few weeks. He was then given some heartburn regarding his obedience since he didn't know how to walk properly on a leash without pulling, he didn't know how to sit or stay in place at a distance, and he was jumping on family without permission. Now the whole family has the tools and knowledge to control this unique-looking pup. Oreo is now walking with everyone, including the 11-year-old son; he is sitting and staying in place at a distance and is not jumping on anyone, unless he's permitted. All training was completed without using food or treats for motivation.
