Join us tomorrow afternoon for a self-guided stroll through the neighborhood to meet 30+ iconic neighborhood cats lounging in their windows. 😻

Meet November (Nova) + Basil! 🐾

🧡 November (Nova, for short) is a tiny black cat with a very important full-time job: neighborhood watch from the front window. She loves playing fetch, birdwatching, and convincing everyone she definitely hasn't had dinner yet (she has 😹). Her cuddles are rare... but absolutely legendary when you earn one.

💚 Basil is a white-and-tabby alien disguised as a cat. 👽 His favorite pastimes include crunchy snacks, sunny naps, and finding the hottest room in the house so he can slowly roast himself rotisserie chicken-style. 🍗 While he occasionally hangs out in the front window, summer is usually spent perfecting the art of being extra toasty. Blep included. 😸

One more week!!!

Let's go for a neighborhood stroll to see some cats.

Our BFFs at Sweet Pickles Designs are hosting a Cat Walk fundraiser in memory of their late cat Pickles to benefit Cat Adoption Team.

The self-guided cat walk will take place on August 8th, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. beginning at For Paws PDX - 3340 SE Division Street, Portland, OR

At the start, you'll collect a map of the route and be invited to head out. Along the way you'll visit window-loving cats as they lounge and judge you from their comfortable perches.

Come early! The first 25 participants will receive a free goodie bag courtesy of CAT. See you there!

Meet the Cats: Otter + Milo! 🐈🐈

❤️ Otter and Milo are two very social neighborhood cats who love visitors! You can often find them hanging out on their porch or along the retaining wall, ready to collect pets from anyone passing by.

💜 Otter is a bit of a neighborhood legend, affectionately known as the “Mayor of Grant Ct.” He’s such a local fixture that he even has his own “DOGS BEWARE” sign asking passersby to give him some space while he figures out his feelings. 😹 When he’s not governing Grant Ct or working through his complicated relationship with dogs, he can frequently be spotted at the Cibo take-out window looking for pizza snacks. 🍕

🧡 Milo is equally happy to welcome visitors and soak up some attention alongside his brother.

One important note from the Mayor’s office: Otter is NOT dog friendly, so please leave pups at home when visiting this stop!🚫🐩

Meet the Cats: Hank! 🐈

💙 Hank is a very affectionate, chatty, goofy guy who's convinced laps exist solely for him. If you're sitting down, he'll probably let you know it's cuddle time by crying until you pick him up. His favorite place to nap? As close to your face as physically possible. ❤️

When he's not snuggling, Hank is chasing his beloved blue bird toy or settling in to watch a good thriller. He's not impressed by cat treats, but he'll happily sample your houseplants, plastic, or even a stray puzzle piece if given the chance. 🐦

Meet the Cats: Data! 🐈 🧡

Data is a 25-pound Maine C**n with a face that says, "I am judging you." But don't let his majestic fluff and permanently unimpressed expression fool you, underneath it all is a giant sweetheart.

His favorite thing? Being picked up, held and squeezed. The bigger the hug, the happier Data is. At 25 pounds, that's no small task! He's basically a giant teddy bear disguised as a very opinionated lion. 💜🦁

Looking for Love: Wendy 💜

Some cats steal the spotlight the moment they walk into a room. Wendy is the kind of cat who quietly steals your heart.

This sweet tabby loves life's softer moments - cozy blankets, gentle pets and peaceful afternoons spent close to her favorite people. Once she feels safe, she'll happily curl up beside you while you read, work or relax, reminding you that the best companions don't always need to be the loudest.

Wendy has the softest fur (seriously - everyone says it feels like petting a bunny!), enjoys a good brushing session and can't resist chasing the red dot or pouncing on a favorite toy when she's feeling playful.

She'd thrive in a calm home with one or two people who appreciate taking things at her pace. Give Wendy a little patience, and she'll reward you with quiet companionship, sweet conversations and all the cozy cuddles you could ask for.

💕 Wendy's adoption fee has been waived because she eats a Purina UR prescription diet.

Meet the Cats! 🐾

Frank and Remy are two rescue best buddies who love keeping an eye on all the neighborhood happenings from their front windows. Whether they're birdwatching, people-watching, or just supervising the block, these two are always on duty together.

Remy is leash trained and may even pop out onto the porch to say hello. Otherwise, you'll likely find these two watching all the excitement from the front window together. They also have excellent style, you'll often find them sporting bow ties for special occasions.
