In case anyone doesn’t know, here’s the tea- adult cats are only $50 until August 31st!

Matcha, Pekoe, and Boba are included!
These three sweet ladies were stray community cats before their life at HSBC. Pekoe has always been outgoing and charismatic but Matcha (tortie) and Boba (black) have only recently started opening up to us. In fact, this photo from yesterday is the first time we’ve seen all three out of hiding together since their arrival June 13th!

All 3 are spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and ready for their new life!
Pekoe and Boba are approximately 1.5 and Matcha 3.

Some of the cats who arrive at our shelter come in rough shape, matted fur, tired eyes, pregnant or nursing moms, and in need of a little extra TLC. But with gentle grooming, a bit of patience, and lots of love, they start to bounce back. P.L.A.Y. Chill Pads have become a favorite among our feline guests during recovery. They offer comfort, a cozy personal space, and a sense of security, just what a healing cat needs to feel safe and start fresh. Being comfortable is key for our shelter pets, it allows them to begin to show their true personalities. When animals feel at ease in their environment, they're more likely to eat well, engage with staff and volunteers, and be open to socialization, which all play a vital role in preparing them for adoption and a successful transition into their forever home.

At our shelter, we welcome animals of all ages, from bouncy kittens and playful pups to mellow adults and sweet seniors. Our goal? To help them all feel safe, loved, and totally at home. Some of our cats have truly mastered the art of lounging-sprawled out on their favorite P.L.A.Y. Chill Pads, soaking up the sunshine and watching the world go by like little feline philosophers, just waiting for their forever people to walk through the door. Comfort is everything when you're a shelter pet! Once our animals feel safe and cozy, their true personalities start to shine, whether that means playing with toys, loud purrs, or epic nap sessions in sunbeams. When they're relaxed, they eat better, interact more with staff and volunteers, and are more open to making new furry (or human) friends. All of this helps set them up for success as they wait for their forever couch... we mean, home.

Barney-our senior boy (Black DSH) suffers from some constant URI symptoms. These P.L.A.Y chill pads have become a new favorite spot of his, sitting next to the window, breathing in the fresh, outside air!

Miss Whiskers- (Tabby with white) is always hanging out in the window soaking up all the views of the outside world, on her P.L.A.Y chill pad! They have two sides, where one is soft and warm, and the other is a fabric allowing them extra ventilation to help stay cool!

One of our recent mama cats-Twilight,(tuxedo) enjoys soft P.L.A.Y chill pads after being done nursing, and her kittens are off to start their forever lives. She is getting into her “time to vacation” mode, and enjoys the views, naps and comfort the beds offer, regardless of where they lay!
