UPDATE!!!

It seems I need to clarify something - Aurora was not our rescue. We had nothing to do with taking her from the neighborhood she was in. We offered to help when we learned of her almost 2 months later. When she was picked she was already pregnant which is probably why she looked so healthy. Had she not been picked up all those puppies would have suffered. If someone was able to spay her why wasn’t she before getting pregnant? Please don’t make judgements and spread misinformation if you don’t have the full story. I’ve added a picture to verify this.

We need a foster for 3-4 small puppies 6-7 weeks old! A couple weeks ago we posted this litter and their mom on our fb page along with a German shepherd, a puppy with exposed bone and that puppy’s sibling. Someone contacted us when they saw mama and pups for sale on fb for $25 each so we had to get creative to get them. Sadly, the mama was in horrific condition. I was sick when I saw her and they’re in a foster right now who’s doing everything she can to fatten her up. The person they came from said she just stopped feeding the poor mama.

They’re with a foster now but 7 pups and their mama are too many for one person so we’re hoping someone else will commit to at least 3 of them.

🌟 Join us for a volunteer meeting tonight at Carmella’s in Grenada, MS at 6:30 PM! 🌟

We’re feeling incredibly overwhelmed trying to manage all that it takes to keep our organization running. Without additional volunteers, we’re uncertain how much longer we can sustain this.

We urgently need help with social media, data entry, fundraising, taking cute photos of our animals for adoption profiles, driving, fostering, grant research, and more.

If we can’t bring in more support, we may have to make more significant cutbacks. The shortage of volunteers and limited funding have led us to halt intakes indefinitely. We’re trying to find a solution that will help us continue our mission. One thing is for sure, our team needs more volunteers.

Overnight foster needed!

There’s been a change in plans for transport and the animals are leaving tomorrow morning instead of Tuesday. I have a tiny puppy scheduled to leave but her foster has to be at work too early to meet in the morning. Is there anyone who could get her today and meet me in the morning between 8-8:30 at Woodlawn Hospital for Animals in Sardis, MS?

We are in desperate need of volunteers. Jenni is killing herself trying to keep up with everything that it takes to run this rescue. There are three of us plus all her fosters trying to do everything we can to help as many animals as possible. We could really use help with driving, getting pictures, paperwork, online stuff, keeping track of the animals that come in and out of the rescue for our quarterly reports and much more. If any of these are things you can help with please reach out. I do everything I can to help Jenni from Oregon but there is only so much I can do. If we can get more local people to step up and help her with this rescue it would really relieve some of her stress.

🌟 **Help Us Give Our Long-Waiting Fosters a Chance at a Forever Home!** 🌟

We have some amazing foster dogs who have been patiently waiting for their forever families—some for years. It’s heartbreaking to see the toll it’s taking on them being surrounded by so many other dogs, as they crave the individual attention they deserve.

Thanks to a generous Good Samaritan, a few of these pups will have their northern adoption fees covered. ❤️ This inspired me to think bigger: what if we could do this for all the dogs who’ve been waiting for at least 6 months?

How can you say no to these beautiful faces?

We need an a foster ASAP this is an emergency, literally life or death. We have a mom and puppies at a fosters house and three puppies have died that is in their care. There are two puppies left with mom. We literally have no fosters open. Jenni's house is not safe for a mom dog and two puppies as she has 15 plus dogs at her house. Please help us get these puppies into a safe home so they don't die like their siblings. If you can foster please message us. I do my best to reply back immediately. Please no rude comments or bashing.
