If you are struggling with your dog’s behavior and feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or unsure who to trust, you are not alone.

Many of the clients I work with come to me after months, sometimes years, of stress, conflicting advice, and trying to “fix” behaviors that are often rooted in fear, anxiety, stress, or unmet needs.

Dogs by Foster specializes in canine behavior consulting for:

• High-arousal and easily overwhelmed dogs
• Dogs struggling to cope with everyday life

The goal of this work is to support meaningful behavior change and to help create greater clarity, stability, and quality of life for both you and your dog.

This work is grounded in decades of professional experience, skilled and honest assessments, and steady, thoughtful guidance.

When behavior is accurately understood early in the process, recommendations can be targeted, emotions effectively changed, and behavior challenges resolved; rather than relying on prolonged trial-and-error or conflicting approaches.

The goal is not to rush progress or extend services unnecessarily, but to apply the right level of support at a pace that allows meaningful change to take hold and remain sustainable in real life.
All work is grounded in compassionate, evidence-based practices designed to support lasting change while protecting the well-being of both dogs and the people who care for them.
