Another beautiful Southeastern Oklahoma whitetail roughed in and mounted. Another week of drying then some finish work and it will be ready to go home. Will be working on another tonight and tomorrow. I love bringing these muy grandes back to life!

Today we salute and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedoms! And to the families of the fallen men and women, we embrace you and thank you for your sacrifice as well! All gave some, but some gave all!

Spent the night in the shop last night. Got this bruiser roughed in. One down four to go. A couple of MUY GRANDES to come! So very excited to get these going and finished! Stay tuned for more updates from the taxidermy shop.

Just a little work in the shop tonight. Finishing up some euros. Pickling some capes. Gonna be a busy week this next week getting all this out of the shop so I can start on shoulder mounts.

Another beautiful trophy buck went home this week. Thank you Mr Judd Miller for allowing me to preserve your trophy. Hope it revives the memory of the hunt for many years to come.

Took a few mounts home this week. Customer brought all four of these to me earlier this year. The three crown mounts were from previous seasons and he made the plaques himself. The European mount is from this year. He was so pleased to get them back and more pleased with how they turned out.

I haven’t posted in a while but I’ve had a major event happen recently. I harvested the biggest buck of my life. And I got to do it with my dad watching. Not only am I excited about the harvest of such a magnificent animal but it’s going to be one of my taxidermy show contest pieces this year. Stay tuned for more of this trophy and plenty of others from the shop!!!

Last night, I made progress in the shop, enhancing the antlers on a few European mounts and roughing out crown mounts. The next step involves wrapping and mounting them on a plaque. As an artist, I find preserving trophies and memories to be a true joy.
