Some dogs become part of your heart without ever placing a paw inside your home. Wilson was one of those dogs. 💔

Wilson and his sister Mae have been part of the Paws & Shop family since 2021. It was such a privilege getting to know him through the years, seeing his photos, watching him grow and seeing him wear so many of my bandanas.

Wilson was so much more than an ambassador. Through him, his mama and I formed a friendship that I will always cherish. Though I never met him in person, it always felt like I knew him, the gentle shepherd with a class-clown spirit who brought a smile to every photo.

Rest easy, sweet Wilson. You were deeply loved and will always hold a special place in the Paws & Shop family. 🌈🐾

A little life update from behind Paws & Shop. 🤍

This summer hasn’t looked quite how I imagined it would.

I’ve been dealing with some unexpected health issues, appointments, and most recently a surgery, and somewhere along the way, I realized I needed to stop worrying so much about keeping up and give myself permission to just… take care of me for a little while.

So if Paws & Shop has felt a little quieter lately, that’s why.

I’ve been sewing less. Posting less. Spending more time at home, loving on my dogs, getting outside when I can, and trying to fill my own cup again.

And honestly? I think I needed it.

Paws & Shop isn’t going anywhere. 🐾 I’m still here, still making your pups their bandanas, and I’m getting ready to pull out all those cozy fall favorites very soon. 🍂

But I’m also allowing myself to create simply because I love creating again.

A lot of that has been happening over at Lemon 🍋 | Tiny Yorkie Adventures , where I’m documenting Lemon growing up, our little adventures, real dog mom life, and plenty more of Gracie + Sage, too.

So if you’ve enjoyed following our little family here over the years, I’d love to have you come along for that chapter, too. 🤍
