Meet us in Safety Harbor tomorrow night! 🎉

You read that right - we are bringing the dogs to Neighborhood BarK Bar & Boutique tomorrow (Friday) night from 6-9pm! 🥳

This is an off leash dog bar right off of Main St in Safety Harbor. They have beer & wine and a few snacks and best of all - LOTS OF DOGS! 🐕

We are bringing Haley, Joey, Queen, Kaylee, Ace and Chance 💛 But, we are talking about bringing a few others, so there may be some surprise guests 👀

The dogs will be playing off leash and we would love for you to come meet them and hang with us 🍻 It’s great to put a face to some of our followers and applicants. You may even fall in love and apply for one of them ❤️

🚨 URGENT: TWO FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! 🚨

We have TWO wonderful dogs in the Tampa area who URGENTLY need foster homes. Both are fixed, have no upcoming vet appointments, and are simply waiting for their forever families. We’ll provide the support - and we’ll bring them to you!

📍 Fosters can be anywhere within 1 hour of Tampa Bay or Sarasota.

🩷 MABEL - A sweet, easy girl and about 50lbs.

Mabel is truly an easy, wonderful houseguest. She is sweet as pie and loves people and kids. She’s fantastic at just about everything:

🐾 Great on a leash
🚗 Loves car rides
🛺 Loves golf cart rides
👧 Great with kids
🐱 Great with cats
🏡 Easy in the house

We previously thought Mabel was good with dogs, but she recently had one negative interaction. Because of that, we would prefer a home without dogs. That said, calm, respectful dogs who aren’t in her face may potentially be okay.

And Mabel needs help RIGHT NOW. Her foster parent was in a car accident Sunday night and is unable to take her back. Mabel had to go into emergency boarding that night in the pouring rain 😢

She deserves a safe, loving place to decompress while we find her forever home. ❤️

💙 LOUIE - 9-year-old Cockapoo, about 40lbs.

Louie is a sweet senior guy who is great with other dogs! 🐶❤️

His one important quirk is resource guarding, so he needs a confident foster who is willing to follow our instructions to help keep everyone safe and make the transition go smoothly.

His ideal foster home would be:

🐶 Dogs are welcome

Louie doesn’t need a perfect home - he needs the right home and someone willing to work with him. He is also sitting in boarding with nowhere to go.

Update on Beautiful ❤️‍🩹

We are waiting for her to be taken into surgery.

She stayed overnight at the ER on fluids and pain meds and they found that she had foreign objects in both her intestines and stomach causing a blockage. She has likely had this for several days, has lost weight and is pretty lethargic. Her breath also smells awful from whatever is backed up in her GI tract 🤢 This poor girl 💔

We picked her up this morning and moved her to a clinic that was able to squeeze her in for a lower cost surgery and really helped us 🙏🏼

This all happened out of nowhere last night and we’re now looking at around $5,000 to save her - but we will do it! 🥳

👉🏼 We paid about $3,200 to the ER and will owe about $2,000 later today for her surgery. But the good news is that she will be okay and she’s being spayed during the surgery today too 🙌🏼

It’s 11:00pm and we just got a call to save this dog 💔

We said yes.

Beautiful is in rough shape and they’re trying to figure out what’s wrong with her. She was brought into the ER vet after not eating or drinking for several days, losing weight and is very weak. The vet suspects that she swallowed something and that it is stuck in her intestines. When they did an ultrasound, she screamed in pain when her stomach was touched 😭

Sadly, Beautiful’s owner could not afford the emergency care and euthanizing this sweet girl was the only other option. Thankfully, she was given our info and selflessly gave her up to save her life and we are so grateful that we can help.

She is being started on IV fluids and pain meds while they run bloodwork and x-rays. It is likely that she will need emergency surgery, but she is too weak right now to go under anesthesia. Hopefully by the morning she will be strong enough because this is really urgent 💔

We weren’t planning on any of this tonight, but letting a puppy die over something fixable isn’t something we can do - but we could use some help saving her! 🥺

We just paid $3,200 to VEG and expect a few thousand more tomorrow for surgery. This is a big bill. If you can help Beautiful, here’s how:

Help us wish our adorable boy Tug, the 6 MO Dalmation puppy a safe flight ✈️ with Pilots N Paws this morning to his adoptive home in NC! Thank you so much to his amazing pilot, Miguel Fernandez, who like other pilots with this great group, give their personal time and cover costs to help save dogs’ lives!

We will miss you, Tug, but know that you will love your new family with your big brother Dal! ❤️

This is what life with Johnny looks like. Play hard, love harder, and when bedtime comes… personal space is officially canceled. 😂

Goose is the happiest, goofiest boy 💙

If you’re looking for a dog who will greet you with a smile, follow you around the house and make you laugh… meet Goose! 🥰

Goose is 72 lbs of pure happiness, affection and goofiness. He’s still filling out and has some BIG paws, so he’s some kind of large poodle mix. We wouldn’t be shocked if he tops 80lbs one day.

This boy LOVES his people and wants to be right where the action is. And if you have a squeaky toy? Even better 😂 No one loves a squeak toy quite like Goose.

About him:

🐕 Loves pets, cuddles & being with his people

🦴 Very treat motivated
🎓 Learning quickly - already knows “sit” and “Talk to me, Goose!”

Goose was formerly a dumped, neglected boy who wandered alone for about a month before being trapped. Because of this and his size, we recommend an adult home or a home with teenage kids. He could easily knock little ones over without meaning to and they could let him out a door, but he really doesn’t act like he wants to leave.

Goose would love a family who wants an affectionate, fun-loving companion and doesn’t mind having a giant shadow following them around ❤️

Goose is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative. He is fostered in Trinity (NW Tampa) and his adoption fee is $400.
