AM and PM shifts needed!
No experience needed to start! Volunteering at Furvivors is a great way to start working with horses and get hands on learning!

Requirements:
✅ Must be 16 or older with valid ID
✅ Strong work ethic
✅ Quick learner
✅ Ability to work independently, after training
✅ Horse experience preferred but not necessary
✅ Appreciation for farm work
✅ Team mentality
✅ No drama perspective
✅ Strong desire to give back to those in need
✅ 2 hour (minimal) weekly commitments preferred
✅ Clear background check

Happy wishlist Wednesday!!
This week, we’re asking for a few essentials that mean the world to our herd!

First is Swat! Swat is very important to have on hand during the summer. Swat is used to help keep flies off the horses who are scared of fly spray!

Secondly, a new fly mask for baby Kash! Fly masks are very important in keep flies off and away from their eyes!

Lastly, flax seed for Piglet, BoJack and Didi! Flax seed provides horses with a source of omega-3 fatty acids, which can improve skin and coat health, support joint function, and potentially help with inflammation!

Meet Shadow🐾
This sweet boy is looking for his forever family and a place to call home🖤 Shadow showed up as strays looking for help. After getting the help and care he needed, he is now looking for a forever home and ready to have his person!

About Shadow:

S*x: male
Age: young adult (2-3 years old)
Breed: short hair domestic
UTD on all vaccines
Neutered: yes
Fun fact: he wags his little tail when eating and getting petted, like he was a dog in a previous life 🥰

Shadow is looking for a person or family who can give him lots of attention! He is a little shy at first but when he warms up to you, he will sit in your lap and purr all day long. He is called Shadow for a reason.

He is very sweet and loves to perch at the window and take in all the things! He knows how to use a litter box and is well behaved. Shadow would prefer an indoor home environment and with time he might enjoy a companion cat of his own.

*He has been around other cats but not long enough to say he’s great with other pets, yet.
