The babies slept in the SUV last night so they didn't get too cold. Jack got his pain meds and eye drops on schedule and he's doing great. They are eating some steak gristle and cabbage leaf. Breakfast of champions. ⛺ 🥩 🥬

We're off to Lake Red Rock! 🏕️

Our little dog Milo is coming with us, and so is Jack and his emotional support rat Mr. Pibb. Jack is still on antibiotic eye drops so my husband had no choice but to let me bring him along, and of course Jack couldn't come alone so we have Mr. Pibb too. Mr. Pibb is the great grandson of Dr. Pepper, and his spitting image, the apple doesn't fall fall far the tree.

The rest of the rats and mice all have extra water and food and will be fine until Sunday, but I will miss them!

I switched the growing boys to the black cage on the right, because I have more girls right now so the adult females went into the bigger blue cage on the left. We're going camping tomorrow through Sunday so I cleaned cages a day early. I washed the hammocks, hosed everything off, and changed the bedding.

Rat TV tonight is watching one of Faeleen and Zorro's girls discover a fresh from the garden cherry tomato.

Kangaroo Jack is such a little trooper! Notice how the surface tension of the eye causes a droplet to form over his eye. So I hold him for a bit to make sure the drop bathes the eye.
