This Baxter Video Memory is from 5 1/2 years ago, February 7, 2020. In this video, Baxter was at a vet appointment. We just came out of the rain so Bax was still wet. The little Beagle was scared because he thought I had to leave him there again, but I didn't. This is the place that Bax went to after being attacked by a dog on February 24, 2019. He always would experience separation anxiety when he was away from me. Bless his little heart! At this time Bax was 15 years old.

This is a Baxter Video Memory from 2013, 12 years ago. So, Baxter was 8 years old. He would always sleep with me at night. This video begins in the dark as we're getting up. I see as Bax is getting up from his sleep, he does his little "Baxter Beagle Wiggle"! He does that little wiggle when he is happy! Shortly after this time, I started feeding Baxter more healthy food, not the treats you see in the video! As you can see, my front room was cluttered with many LPs as I was going through some of my albums!

Baxter now has his wings! Little Baxter passed on to the Rainbow Bridge on January 20, 2021, he had turned 16 on January 13, 2021. He had been my friend for 16 years. This video is from February 16, 2014; at that time, Bax was 9 years old. Baxter was a strong, sweet dog who loved everyone. He loved his walks and meeting new people and dogs. He had a few medical issues in his last 2 years of life. He lost his eye in 2013 due to complications from glaucoma. He was fighting cancer, and he had 2 vestibular episodes. In the end, the sweet boy had a seizure and with him in so much pain, I decided it was time for him to go to Heaven. Baxter, I will see you again one fine day in Heaven!!! On that day I wrote: "Today has been a very emotional day. I'm already missing Baxter greatly. Baxter loved his walks and his runs! This video from just one year ago brings back the memory of how cute and full of life Baxter was just one year ago. Life isn't always fair and it's a shame that our loving pets have such short life spans compared to us. Today I'm trying my best to accept the fact that I was lucky just to have Baxter in my life in my life for 16 years. Hopefully I will see him again one day. Until then, I have many videos and pictures of Sweet Baxter to keep his memory fresh. I am going to keep Baxter's page going as a tribute to my very special friend! Thank you Baxter for all of your love and companionship, Baxter I love you!"

This is a Sweet Baxter Memory from 12 years ago, July 2013. This picture was taken shortly after Baxter had to have his left eye removed due to complications from Glaucoma. Bax was 8 years old at this time. This strong, loving boy lived to age 16! In the picture, he had one of his toys in front of him.

In those 2 years, Baxter got attacked by a dog, was diagnosed with cancer, had two vestibular episodes, and endured many Vet visits and treatments. But through it all, Bax carried on and loved his life! But he couldn't beat cancer. On December 2, 2020, he lost his second eye because melanoma was invading his eye socket. On December 31, 2020, Baxter was scheduled for euthanasia because of aggressive cancer. I decided to put off euthanasia because his cancer Vet thought the cancer was not spreading that fast. It seemed like he knew he was given more life by how many times he did his happy "Baxter Beagle Wiggle" after euthanasia had been canceled! In the end, Bax was fighting cancer, he now was blind, and he just experienced a seizure. I didn't want my friend to suffer anymore. The sweet boy crossed the Rainbow Bridge on January 20, 2021, at age 16! BAXTER THE BEAGLE- PLAYING! (RIP BAXTER JAN. 13, 2005- JAN. 20, 2021)

This video is from August 17, 2020. At this time Baxter was 15 1/2 years old; it was 5 1/2 months before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. On August 17, 2020, I wrote: "This morning Baxter met Cato! Cato wanted to play, but Baxter wasn't in the mood! As Baxter gets older, he doesn't want to play that much. He is more concerned with walking and smelling the bushes and trees!" Baxter had his left eye removed in 2013 due to glaucoma complications. On November 13, 2020, Baxter's right eye was getting attacked by melanoma coming through his eye socket. In the first week of December, the poor little guy had his right eye removed too. He was a happy boy who had been through so much, but his will to live and love of life kept him going! At the end, Bax had been attacked by another dog in Feb 2019, was fighting cancer, he now was blind, and he just experienced a seizure. I didn't want my friend to suffer anymore. The sweet boy crossed the Rainbow Bridge on January 20, 2021, at age 16! I love you Baxter and I will see you again one fine day in Heaven!!!
