My 2am puppy check ✔️
Were heading into that 2nd week for them but still very cautious ⚠️ as accidents do happen!!
All babies are doing well, staying warm and snuggled up with mama's.
Daisy Mae always hears me coming so she gets let out to wiggle and get her drink and potty, she cannot have anything in the pen with her because she will put it on the babies, I feel like Tullie doesn't even hear me because she stays in with her babies ❤️
Im getting excited for a normal sleep schedule again as these little beans get older 😆

🐾 One-week puppy update 🐾
Both litters have officially reached their one-week milestone! ❤️
Tullie's five little babies turned one week old on Friday, and Daisy Mae’s little ones are celebrating their first week today! Their days are still filled with nursing, sleeping, and snuggling close to their mamas.
We’re soaking up all the tiny squeaks, sleepy stretches, and little wiggles while watching them grow.

I snuck in this am while mamas were eating their chicken & rice with puppy chow for some puppy noises, as you can see all 15 are healthy, snuggly and thriving🙂 ive been popping in as we head to bed for the night then at 2am-ish and 4:30 am-ish back again at 8:30am for breakfast 😴 the worry of one being laid on is constantly in the brain!! So far so good 🥰
This process from beginning to end is truly a blessing to be apart of! I love our mama Dogs and ALL their precious babies!!

Good Monday Morning Lab Lovers ☕️❤️
Lets see what your pups were up to this weekend during opening day of Duck Season 🦆please share your photos and videos with us all 🤩
We had a weekend full of Dogs! Doing all the Dog things!
Zeus was thrilled to get out and get back to it!!
We were not able to be out like we wanted too for opening weekend but that's because we had a whole lot going on here at the homestead with our mama dogs ❤️
As the last of Penny’s puppies headed home with her new family, we were getting ready to welcome a whole new bunch of little faces!
Tullie and Hercules welcomed five babies throughout Friday! Mama and her little ones are doing well. 💛female💛💛males🖤🖤males
Then on Sunday, Daisy Mae welcomed TEN healthy babies, sired by Zeus! Her labor began early that morning and continued until early evening. Mama and all ten babies are doing well. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤💛💛💛🤎(we will check genders later)
And all of this happened in the midst of welcoming opening day of duck season—getting out and doing what our Labs are bred and trained to do! 🦆
Back at home, two new litters mean care around the clock checking and that our mama's are getting plenty of good food, fresh water, rest, and extra attention while we keep a close eye on everybody.
Between puppy goodbyes, fifteen new arrivals, and time with the hunting dogs, there hasn’t been much downtime—but it’s a whole lot of what we love. We’re excited to share these little ones as they grow with our DG Lab family! ❤️🐾Now onto getting appointments scheduled!

Eight weeks old tomorrow, and every one of our babies has a family to call their own! 🐾🤎
The boys have headed off to their new homes, and we’re soaking up one more day with little Miss Dolly—the only girl of the bunch—before she joins her family tomorrow. She’s getting a little extra love while she has us all to herself! 💕
Watching them grow and then sending them home is always bittersweet. To our puppy families, thank you for trusting us to raise your newest family member. We can’t wait to watch them grow alongside you 🐾

We got a quick trip out to the water tonight for some swim time 🤩 until the duck got ripped apart!

🐾BIG DAY FOR OUR DG LAB BABIES!🐾
Today was another milestone day for our five little chunky 🫘!
🩺 Wellness checks — PASSED!
💉 First set of puppy shots — DONE!
🚙 Second trip away from home — DONE!

Technically, this wasn’t their first time leaving home. Their very first adventure happened when they were just 4 days old, when we loaded up five teeny-tiny beans in our basket and headed to the vet to have their dewclaws removed. ❤️
But today was a whole different experience!
This time they were big enough to really take it all in. We introduced them to loading into the kennel, riding in the vehicle, leaving their familiar surroundings, and experiencing all the new sights, sounds, smells and people at the vet’s office.
They were definitely a little apprehensive about the whole thing at first 😂, but every single one of them did so well!
Experiences like this are part of getting our babies ready for life outside of DG Labs. Each new experience helps build confidence and teaches them that something unfamiliar doesn’t necessarily have to be scary. ❤️
And the best news of the day — all five babies passed their wellness checks! 🙌
Healthy babies, first shots on board, another new experience under their belts, and one step closer to heading home to their families. 🏡🐾❤️

🐾❤️ APPROACHING SEVEN WEEKS! ❤️🐾
Our little chunky 🫘 are coming up on 7 weeks old, and we are officially entering our last stretch with these babies! 🥹
This week is a BIG one for our five little DG Labs!
🐾 Third round of deworming — DONE!
🩺 Wellness checks — Wednesday!
💉 First puppy shots — Wednesday!
At this age, their personalities are REALLY starting to shine. They’re curious, confident, BUSY 😂 and learning more about the world around them every day. Lots of playing, wrestling, exploring new things, and of course plenty of eating and sleeping in between!
This is one of our favorite stages because you really start seeing who each puppy is — the adventurous ones, the snugglers, the troublemakers 😂 and the ones who just want to be wherever you are. ❤️
We’ll spend this last stretch continuing with lots of handling, socialization, new sights and sounds, and getting these babies ready for their next big adventure.
🏡 Just about ONE MORE WEEK until homecoming!
It’s getting a little bittersweet around here. We know their families are counting down the days, so we’re soaking up every last bit of our five chunky 🫘 while we can. ❤️🐾
