Most dogs are serious athletes. Bred to move dynamically and hunt. Fitness games with your dog is a great way to bond and improve your dogs quality of life.

Zuma is back for his second leg of our advanced perfect puppy program. At 5 months old Zuma has more skills than most adult dogs. He’s walking well on leash, play on command, and manners!

The puppy raising program has been such a popular program recently because it’s showing people how fun raising a puppy can be!

The solution to reactivity , aggression, and or fear is not necessarily obedience. Sociability is heavily influenced by genetics first, and experience. Josie came to training to improve her obedience, and to help resolve leash reactivity.

Josie lives with 2 other dogs and has gotten into altercations with one of her house mates. Since the owners didn’t know what to do, it happened multiple times, and then recently it happened on a camping trip.

Josie is not some blood thirsty dog. She loves other dogs, and is very playful. So what happened you may ask? Unclear boundaries, and too much freedom before she was ready. So now we are working to improve her neutrality to other dogs.

Ideally our goal for socializing is to create a dog that is neutral to environments, people, and dogs. This happens by setting clear expectations and boundaries at home. (If you can’t control your dog in your home, you are going to be hard pressed to control them anywhere else)

Ruby is apart of our puppy raise and train program. The goal of the program is to help new puppy owners through all the stages of development with their puppies. We focus on owner education and helping you learn how to connect with your dog.

A lot of the COMMON issues you hear about can almost entirely be avoided when you know how to raise a dog well. While there are no guarantees with living beings, we can say with confidence if you follow your trainers advice, keep your mind open to learning, and are consistent, you will unlock a lot of potential. Puppies are quite capable when you follow the right program!

Your first intro to professional training should NOT be corrections, and commands. It’s highly likely by the time you reach out to a trainer, your dog has repeated the unwanted behaviors so many times it’s a habit.

Making your dog sit, to address jumping doesn’t actually resolve the problem. It hides it. Obedience may change your dogs physical actions, but it doesn’t address the root of their thoughts/feelings/ and desires. If you have to tell your dog to sit, or heel, or leave it repeatedly to walk past a squirrel then something is not clicking.

The way we train is we teach YOU the owner how to add true breed specific fulfillment to your dogs life. We teach you how to make learning fun for your dog so that skills stick faster. We teach you how to think so you can make decisions when we aren’t around. We give you all the tools to build up a well mannered, obedient and happy dog.
