✅ Practice handling — Touch their paws, ears, tail, and mouth at home so they’re used to being examined.
🚗 Take short car rides — Get them used to riding without always ending up at the vet.
🧘‍♀️ Work on basic obedience — Commands like "sit" and "stay" help create structure and focus.
🎧 Try calming music — Playing soothing sounds on the way there can help set the tone.

As a dog trainer, we have seen what the wrong treats can do. Keep your dog safe by avoiding these common (but dangerous!) foods:

❌ Chocolate
❌ Grapes & raisins
❌ Onions & garlic
❌ Cooked bones
❌ Xylitol (in sugar-free gum & peanut butter)
❌ Avocado
❌ Alcohol (yes, even a sip!)

When in doubt—do not give your dog these foods. Your dog’s safety starts with what’s in their bowl! 🦴🐶💚

We just wrapped up an incredible few days in Tampa for our annual owner's conference, and we’re still feeling the energy! From powerful keynotes to hands-on workshops, this year’s conference was all about growth, connection, and leveling up as business owners.
