Good evening everyone, I’m sorry I’ve been a little MIA, my family and I are getting to a place in our hearts that we feel that Gunner has either crossed the bridge or is in a safe place, it has been over 2yrs now with no luck.
We still think about him and laugh about him and the things he use to do, he will always be apart of us.
On a side note we are mourning the loss of our beloved little Gizmo who passed away at 15yrs of age Monday night. It’s been especially hard on me cause he was my little Mo-Mo he really only loved me lol just like most little dogs they gravitate to 1 person and 1 person only and that was me 💜
He is running free with his best friends Oreo who passed away early 2017 at 14yrs of age, they were a bonded pair after we got Gizmo, they were the bestafriends. They went everywhere together, they really disliked being separated and after Oreo passed Gizmo was never the same, he was sad sleeping all day not having fun always sleeping on top of the couch looking out the window for Oreo to walk up the steps. It pained me that he never bonded with Blue our husky in hopes of bringing life back to his precious little soul.
He was blind, deaf and had only 2 teeth left and I held on, hoping he would make it one more Christmas with me ❤️‍🩹💔

Wow pretty emotional right now, this popped up in my memories on my phone and created a video out of the pictures. Gunner you are very missed everyday, we still laugh and joke about your personality, we still call for you thinking that you’ll be in the backyard. You made an impact on our lives that we will never forget. One day we will see you again ❤️

This is just one of the things I love about getting your dog professionally trained. We all know how husky’s, are hyper, a mind of their own, hate to listen etc...and here I am recalling Blue from a distance and he comes straight back to me and he is not on a leash, he’s barley ever on a leash except for when it is necessary. This is even after a couple years after dog training.

Guess who’s going to doggy school!! Axle is!! The one thing I wish we would’ve done was paid the money to get Gunner trained, we did it for my Siberian husky and it made the world of difference. I believe if we would’ve of done that with Gunner he would still be here with us. It is not cheap but the price of having our pups listen to us and come to us is worth every penny. We do a lot of camping and fishing and love to take our dogs and we need to make sure that they will listen to us when we are out in the open with distractions! We haven’t had time to work with him every second of the day when we are home, my husband works crazy hours, I have 2 jobs plus the kids sports activities. So time is hard to find to really work with Axle. He is a fast learner my daughter taught him to rollover, he can sit and stay for the most part but the come back command he seems to fall deaf on 😂 Innovative K9 Academy are amazing trainers who trained Blue the husky and that is who Axle will be going too.
There is just not enough time in the day some days.

Good Morning! Look at this video that popped up in my Snapchat memories ❤️😭😂 Gunner LOVED TO CHEW UP EVERYTHING!! His favorite things to chew up were flip flops 🤣 It’s really hard to not talk about Gunner, bring him up in conversation or memories like, “remember that time Gunner...”

Axle is trying really hard to be soft with the balloon 🙃 he is fitting in nicely with the family 💗 Gizmo the little grumpy old man doesn’t care for him 😂 but Blue the husky gets along great with Axle!
We still have our off days where we talk about our precious Gunner and how funny he was and how he loved to cuddle 🥰 one day I pray we’ll get his funny, cuddling butt back 🤞
But for the mean time enjoy Axle playing with a balloon 🎈❤️
