Everyone, meet Cielo 🌤️ I’ve been a little slow introducing her because… well… I’ve been keeping her all to myself.

Cielo is a Covid puppy, which means she missed out on a lot of early socialization and confidence building. At the end of her leash, that can spill over into reactivity. So we’re focusing on boosting her confidence, getting her out in the world, and polishing up her commands.

Her parents were nervous about sending her for a board-and-train since she’s never been around other dogs or away from home — but plot twist… she’s thriving! Actually, thriving so much that she’s a little obsessed with my fiancé and my stepdaughter. ❤️🐾

Sorry, Mom and Dad… she might be making some new “favorite humans” here. 😉

🎉🐾 Happy 3rd Birthday, Daisy! 🐾🎉
We’ve been lucky enough to know this sweet girl for all three years of her life, thanks to her amazing mom choosing us as her trainer. We’re so grateful for every visit, every snuggle, and every goofy Daisy moment — especially when her mom’s off adventuring and we get to hang out with her.

Today we’re celebrating with doggy cookies… but I told everyone dinner first, dessert second! 🍪🐶 I’m pretty sure her mom is going to spoil her even more on Monday, so this is just a warm-up party.

Here’s to many more years of fun, learning, and cookies, Daisy girl! 💛

It’s a topic that’s rarely spoken about because it’s heavy, emotional, and uncomfortable. But it’s important.

Some dogs live in complete isolation, unable to enjoy a normal life. They may be dangerous to people or other animals, and management becomes constant — restricting freedom for both the dog and the owner. In severe cases, the stress, risk, and limitations are overwhelming, and one mistake could lead to tragedy.

We’re also entering a time where society is becoming less dog-friendly, partly due to more severe bite incidents. When management fails — and it often does — the consequences are life-changing.

While some cases can be improved with training and careful handling, there are times when the kindest, most responsible choice is behavioral euthanasia. It’s not about giving up; it’s about ending suffering, reducing danger, and allowing everyone involved to find peace.
