What a weekend we had at the Maryland State Fair! Matthew & Nate competed in the state 4H livestock judging competition along with their friends Autumn and Lea Custer 🐂🐖🐑

They did an outstanding job!

Livestock judging challenges youth to evaluate classes of animals, rank them based on things like structure, muscle, balance, and overall quality, and then explain the reasons behind their decisions. It takes knowledge, confidence, quick decision-making, public speaking, and a good eye for livestock.

We’re thankful for opportunities like this that allow these kids to learn, compete, and grow in agriculture. Congratulations to the entire team on a job well done! 👏❤️. There will be more competitions to come!!!

Who says lunch at work has to be boring?! Last week we threw some Promised Land Meats on the grill, and it was a pretty good way to make the workday a whole lot better. 😋

Burgers sizzling, sausage hot off the grill, sunshine ☀️… sometimes the best meals are the simple ones shared with great people.❤️.

What are YOU throwing on the grill this week? 👇
