🐾 Meet Rocky! 🐾
Rocky is a brave 12-year-old Shiba Inu who came to us after a Grade 3 Medial Patellar Luxation and a Right CCL injury he sustained in January while playing outside. He underwent MPL correction and TPLO surgery and is now working hard in PT to regain full weight-bearing on his right hind leg—so he can get back to walking and running with his family. 💪🐕
Rocky’s journey hasn’t been easy. When he first arrived, he already had limited vision after losing his left eye to glaucoma. Then in February, due to rising pressure in his remaining eye, his family made the difficult decision to have it removed as well. ❤️‍🩹
But Rocky is a true fighter. Not only is he working to regain mobility, he's also learning to confidently navigate the world without sight—and he’s making amazing progress! Every session, he walks with more confidence and is adapting beautifully to his new normal. 🌟
We’re so proud of this sweet boy and all he’s accomplished!

🐾 Modalities in Canine Rehab: TENS & NMES 🐾
Did you know that dogs can benefit from advanced physical therapy tools just like humans? Two electric modalities in canine rehabilitation are TENS and NMES – gentle, non-invasive treatments that play a big role in pain management and muscle recovery.
🔹 TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) helps reduce pain by stimulating sensory nerves and releasing endorphins – your dog’s natural painkillers. It’s ideal for managing chronic conditions like arthritis or post-operative discomfort.
🔹 NMES (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation) targets motor nerves to help maintain or rebuild muscle strength in pets recovering from injury, surgery, or experiencing muscle atrophy due to neurological conditions.
These therapies are safe, well-tolerated, and can be part of a comprehensive plan to improve your pet’s mobility and comfort.
Have questions about how TENS or NMES could benefit your pup? 🐶 Send us a message! – we’re always happy to chat about your dog’s journey to wellness!

🐾 Meet Eros! 🐾
This sweet 3-year-old kitty had quite the tumble back in March when he jumped out of the bathtub and suffered a subluxated hip. Despite initial healing, his hip continued to luxate, and in May, Eros underwent an FHO (femoral head ostectomy) on his left hind leg at Tomorrow's Veterinary Care with the amazing Dr. Klone!
Now, Eros is working hard on physical therapy journey! 💪🐱 His goal? To build strength in the muscles and scar tissue around his hip so he can walk normally again and, of course, get back to doing what he loves most—playing with his toys! 🎾🧶
Let’s cheer Eros on as he works hard to regain strength and mobility! 💙

🐾 Meet Beckett! 🐾
Beckett is a sweet 6-year-old mixed breed who originally came to physical therapy after coming home limping from a fun-filled day at doggy daycare. He was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia, and his goal was to build up strength in his hind limbs so he could safely enjoy daycare three times a week and play without pain.
After a few weeks of therapy, our PT team noticed Beckett was still experiencing some underlying pain and recommended a follow-up with his orthopedic vet. During that consult, he was found to have a right cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) injury and underwent TPLO surgery in March.
Beckett has been working hard in rehab ever since, and he continues to focus on his goal—to get back to running, playing, and enjoying every minute at doggy daycare. 🐶💪 We’re so proud of his progress and can’t wait to see him back in action soon!

🐾 Meet Shelby! 🐾
Shelby is a sweet 12-year-old Collie who joined us for physical therapy after facing some tough challenges. Diagnosed with osteoarthritis, Shelby began experiencing mobility issues last summer. Things became more difficult for Shelby after she suffered a fall at home while her pet parents were at work and was stuck for several hours. This experience left her unable to walk or move comfortably for several days.
Now, Shelby is working hard in PT to regain her strength and mobility. Her goals are to confidently move around her home and get in and out of the car with ease. We’re so proud of her progress and honored to be part of her journey back to comfort and independence! 💪❤️

🐾 Meet Tigger! 🐾
Tigger is an adorable 8-year-old mixed breed who came to us for physical therapy to help with front limb lameness that started three years ago after jumping off the couch. His goals? To decrease limping and improve pain and mobility so he can get back to enjoying life!
During his initial evaluation, we noticed instability in both shoulders and recommended a consultation with his orthopedic vet before moving forward. After his visit, Tigger was diagnosed with:
🩺 Moderate medial shoulder instability in the left
🩺 Mild medial shoulder instability in the right
With a clear diagnosis and a plan in place, Tigger is now working hard on his physical therapy journey. We’re excited to help this sweet guy regain strength, stability, and confidence in his movement! 💪🐶💛

🌟 Meet Tato! 🌟
This brave 1-year-old Corgi has already been through so much — and he's facing it all with courage and a wagging tail. 🐾❤️
In January, Tato was hit by a car and suffered multiple pelvic and bilateral hind limb fractures. As a result, he underwent a left hind limb amputation and a hip toggle procedure on his right hind limb.
Now, Tato is working hard in physical therapy to adjust to life as a tripod and build strength in his remaining back leg. 💪🐕
His spirit is unstoppable, and every session brings him closer to thriving in his new normal. We’re so proud of Tato’s resilience and determination!
