🌿 A Quiet Season at Ethereal Moon Mousery 🌙
Sometimes even the brightest lantern needs to be set down for a while.
For the foreseeable future, I’ll be taking an indefinite break from social media, including messages and emails, so I can focus on my mental health and the parts of Ethereal Moon Mousery that need my full attention.
Over the past few months, I’ve realized that I’ve been trying to carry more than I have the energy for. Depression and anxiety have made it difficult to keep up with everything, and rather than continue stretching myself too thin, I need to slow down and return to the reason I started this journey in the first place.
As part of that, I’ll be scaling the mousery back to primarily focus on my extreme black line. I’ll still be keeping my other varieties because they each hold a special place in my heart, but they’ll become small personal projects rather than lines I’ll regularly share or develop.
This isn’t the end of Ethereal Moon Mousery, it’s simply a quieter chapter.
The lantern is still lit. It’s just burning a little deeper in the woods while I find my footing again.
Thank you to everyone who has supported my little corner of the mouse fancy, whether you’ve followed my genetics projects, enjoyed the photos, learned something from my educational posts, or simply cheered me on along the way. Your kindness has meant more than you know.
When the path feels a little clearer, I’ll return.
Until then, may your nests stay warm, your tunnels stay winding, and your lanterns always find you home.
