We are open for u pick today until 2pm! One of the last general u pick days of the season, although we will have some appointments available for the next couple of weeks. Get your farm fresh eggs and local honey while you are here!

We will be open for blackberry u-pick on Saturday, July 26th, from 8am - 2pm (or sold out). 226 Lever Road Blythewood. This will be one of the last days for drop in u-pick, otherwise we are only doing appointments.

Pictured: our season nearly came to an abrupt end this morning when one of our irrigation filters exploded, dumping hundreds of pounds of filter sand onto the ground! Fortunately for us we had a spare used filter housing on hand and we were able to get the watering system up and running within a few hours after a visit to the pool supply store for 650lbs of sand! We are working hard to keep the fresh fruit coming as long as we can despite the drought we are in here in Cedar Creek.

THANK YOU to all of our wonderful customers who came out today, the blackberry field is now empty and needs a couple of days to recover! We will reopen for u pick on Tuesday the 15th. Meanwhile, we are continuing to prune out old growth, and admiring the new growth. It looks like the 2026 crop will be really good!

Blackberry season is still going strong! Farmer Kate and I picked 40lbs of jam berries on Sunday and Monday, and now the field is ready for you to come out for u pick today and tomorrow! We have a large homeschool group scheduled for Friday so will be closed this week on Thursday and Friday and will update availability on Friday afternoon for potential weekend picking. 226 Lever Road Blythewood

Some of you have been asking us when "the really big ones" would be coming ripe - SOON!!!! Farmer Kate picked a basket of beautiful Horizon blackberries today, check out the size! These 10 berries weighed in at over a quarter of a pound. We should have some at the Blythewood Farmers Market on Wednesday, and they should be ready for u pick next week!

Will have fried hand pies, eggs, Fabel Farms honey, and our own seedless blackberry jam available for purchase. The canes are loaded and it won't take you long to pick a basket (or 5!).
