I’ve always found it a little funny how even the coldest stories seem to soften the moment a dog shows up, like there’s something about them that slips past all the walls people build without even trying, and I notice it more now in my own life because my dog has a way of making everything feel less sharp and less serious just by being there, sitting close, looking at me like I’m not as complicated as I think I am, and it makes me realize that maybe it’s not about whether someone likes dogs or not, but about what they allow themselves to feel when something that pure is sitting right in front of them 🐾

So hard to believe they are ready to go to their forever homes!! Wanted to capture one of the last meals with all 10 in attendance. Such a bittersweet time!!
