When I got home from NWDA last night, I just had to sneak in a ride on one of our new training horses - Velvet Ike.

This guy is super cool. Absolute puppy dog personality, ridiculously cute mover, and a huge bay with chrome (and a couple horses worth of hair on his mane and tail 😍). He's a 4 YO with a 20 YO personality.

Can not wait to get this guy into the show ring this summer. Someday he is going to be looking for a new family. I'll make sure to snitch when this one's for sale since we are now selling before they are listed 😉

Classic Again, Ridden by Harper and Call Tony, ridden by Kelby Cloose had a wonderful weekend at the first RPHJA show at Carriage House Farm in Hugo.

So proud of how far Harper has come in the past year and how much she has achieved! Now we have a break for one weekend before we head out to the next one in Iron River, WI!

First Show of 2025 for KMC Equestrian students in the book!

The first thing that I would like to say is that I am beyond proud of ALL my students. I pride myself on my students being prompt, respectful, and no drama. Even with the long days, all of my students gave it 110%. Specifically on the "western day", I gave my students an order to follow for each class and they delivered! I did not once have to look for who was next. EVERY time they were at the gate waiting and ready to go when the student before them was in the arena.

Thank you to Rustys Rolling Rock Ranch for holding the first show of the year. Thank you to Stephanie Smith BarBee and parents for taking photos! Now onto Carriage House this upcoming weekend!
