Adopt us... if you dare! 🎃👻

These three sweet souls are looking for forever homes this Halloween season:

🐾 Zara: a big-eared girl with a big heart (Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, spayed)
🐾 Parker Sage: a sweet boy who already owns a Halloween bandana (Brittany Spaniel mix, neutered)
🐾 Piggie: spooky? No. Sweet? Absolutely!

No tricks, just treats and a lifetime of tail wags. Apply at furbabyranch.com or message us to set up a meet-and-greet.

Furbaby Ranch is a veteran-owned dog rescue in Union, SC.

🎃 Trick-or-treat bag safety check! 🎃
Chocolate (especially dark & baking), sugar-free candy with xylitol, raisins, and wrappers or lollipop sticks are NOT pup-friendly.
Keep candy up high, help the kiddos stash their haul, and have dog-safe treats ready so nobody feels left out.
If your pet sneaks something, call your vet or ASPCA Animal Poison Control (888-426-4435, a consultation fee may apply) right away. Don't wait for symptoms.
Share this with a fellow pet parent before the 31st! 🧡

Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. For seven long months, Foxy watched the rescue center bustle with life. She watched other dogs bound out the front doors with new families, their tails wagging like pendulum clocks. Through it all, Foxy waited with remarkable patience. She sat by the play-yard fence, soaking up the sunshine, resting her chin on her paws, and keeping her sweet soul open to the world.

Then, today arrived.

Happy Adoption Day, sweet girl. Your journey was long and heavy, Foxy, but you made it home.

There were tearful smiles, a shiny new leash attached to her collar, and a warm backseat loaded with soft pillows waiting just for her. No more dark crates. No more freezing nights. No more babies. No more waiting.

Happy FurEver After🐶

Storm season isn't over yet — is your pup's go-bag ready? 🎒🐾
This week, rescues flew dozens of shelter dogs out of Hurricane Isaias's path to make room and keep them safe.
Your checklist: ID tag + updated microchip, 3–7 days of food & water, meds, vet records, a leash, and a recent photo of you together.
Never leave pets behind if you evacuate — they're family.
Save this post and share it with a fellow pet parent! 💛

Fall walks are the best… but watch what's on the ground! 🍂
Acorns, fallen fruit, mushrooms and sweet-tasting antifreeze can all make pups sick.
Our favorite safety tool? A rock-solid "leave it" — practice daily with lots of treats.
Shorter days? Add a reflective collar or clip-on light for evening walks.
Share your pup's best "leave it" in the comments! 🐶

The Foster area is now up and running! Holly Wise says I stay up too late working. I would promise to stop, but I do my best work when nobody's awake to supervise me. 🤣

Nobody knows exactly what happened last night... but the evidence says ZOOMIES.
Once our rescue pups finally feel safe, they sleep HARD, and honestly that's our favorite part of the job.
