I will be at the Grassroots festival in Union on August 9th again thus yr. Sorry we missed last yr as it was so much fun but was not accepting new clients. I took a lot if backlash from people when i did the festival the first yr and filled up shortly after (even though i was also doing a fund raiser for the local humane association as well)

With that said...

1. Yes, I am still taking new clients but am filling up very fast and am NOT doing the festival for self promoting just to gain more clients.... i get enough clients by word of mouth.

2. I will be doing another fund raiser of some sort for BMHA. Probably a free lanyard to the First 50 people who donate $5 or more to BMHA. (This is not set in stone yet, but just an idea). For large donations I may offer discounted grooming/gift card. I have not decided the min donation amnt ir the gift card amnt yet.

3. I will not be offering any grooming services at the festival. I will have my cards and ability to schedule appointments, pending opening availabilities.

To my Current Clients: I will be working on increasing my prices a little. I have not had a price increase since I started grooming over 3 yrs ago. This will be effective August 1st. I will be evaluating dogs as I have them scheduled and will notify you before your appointment day of any change in your pricing. Thank you all for your continued support. Some of my recent new clients prices wont change.

If anyone is in need or wants a super nice docile rooster let me know. A couple of my hatchlings from April are starting to get roo traits. They are Americauna X Black Cooper Maran (olive egger) they have been held and handled since they were hatched. I am keeping 1 and have 1 to rehome.

Do to expanding my grooming hrs and my client list growing, ( i have had several no call no shows and people showing up more tha 15 mins late. I am 1 on 1 with no kennel space so being late for drop off and pick up throws my schedule off and not showing up cuts my income.) I will have written policies in place and will be getting these to all my clients starting in the next few weeks. Thank you all for your continued support.

I am now booked till the end of June. It wont be long till I am full again....

So I got a message that said from Meta, and some name, no profile pix. It said my business page was going to be permanently banned from fb do to not following fb policy standards. There was a link to follow to dispute. It asked my email associated with account and asked to verify my password. I DID NOT GIVE MY PASSWORD. Instead i blocked the message and person and sent a message to fb about it. Just a heads up, not to give out your info.

We still have a ton to do on the shop conversion but it is coming along!!! Got the tub and table delivered yesterday to make sure they would fit in the area we are building (lol). And they do!!! Garage organization and cleanout (the otherside), 1 more wall to frame, figure out plug placemwnts and lights (electrical), sheetrock, and that is about it!!!

Groomshop garage conversiin update; I have stairs, a couple walls and a door!!! We had a few set backs but its coming along!!!

I am now grooming Full time. May is starting to fill up fast but I still have aome openings and am accepting new clients. Now grooming Wed-Sat.
