Friends of Union Township Animal Shelter Volunteer created and managed page to support the Township of Union Animal Shelter. This page is in no way connected to the Township of Union.

Appointments are needed due to COVID. Please email us or DM us if you would like to set up an appointment. :) This page is volunteer created and managed to support the Township of Union Animal Shelter in finding homes for their animals and reach out for their different needs. All of the information comes directly from the staff at the shelter. If you have any specific questions, please contact the

Brownie – A Sweet Boy Waiting for His Forever Home

Brownie came to our shelter about 8 months ago after losing the only home and owner he ever knew. His sibling has since been adopted, and now it’s Brownie’s turn to find a loving family.

He’s a young, affectionate pup who dreams of a home where he can run in a yard, go on walks, and soak up all the belly rubs he can get. Brownie deserves more than a kennel—he deserves a family to grow old with.

Georgie – Waiting Too Long for His Second Chance

Georgie has been at the shelter for a year and a half, and he’s still holding on to hope that his forever family will find him. Every day, he watches his kennel mates leave—some adopted, others reclaimed by their families—while he remains behind, wondering when it will be his turn.

At around 5 or 6 years old, Georgie still has many good years ahead of him. He deserves more than a life behind a shelter door.

Georgie is a smart, strong boy who needs a home with a confident, experienced owner—someone who can set boundaries and provide consistent guidance. He would thrive best in a home with no other pets and would do well with older teenage children or adults.

He’s been working hard on getting fit and ready for his new family, and he’s so eager to start the next chapter of his life. We know his family is out there—please come meet him and see if you're the one he's been waiting for.
