It’s never easy to give news to people especially news like this one.

Nancy and I have been training dogs together for 6 years. From being coworkers to working together in my own company. We have been through a lot together, lots or head budding and arguments to lots of laughs and fun memories. I wouldn’t have done it any other way. Nancy is now embarking on a new journey, she’s moving to Texas to be closer to her family. She will continue to do dog training and advocating for dogs so that’s a plus for people in Texas!

Nancy is finishing up her lessons and commitments here. Her last day is July 27th.

A public note to Nancy:

Nancy words cannot describe how grateful I am to you for your loyalty! I know I haven’t been the easiest of bosses. I do hope that in the years we worked together I was able to teach you a little something of what I know. Your absence here will be felt, your dedication to my baby (Supreme K9) is admirable. You have been a huge blessing in the growth in the company and that doesn’t go unnoticed. I will miss you as a boss but I will miss you more as my friend. Yeah I know we got phones and text and all but you know what I mean 😅. We have grown together in many ways from trainers to our personal life. Thank you for being my head trainer and treating my company as your own. One last thing I publicly apologize for the hard times I gave you, I’ve grown as person enough to know i could’ve handle things differently. Best of luck in your new journey I hope you continue to be awesome in our craft. Love you friend ❤️

Too often, dogs are misunderstood or even suppressed because we lack a deeper understanding of their genetic makeup.

Many of the behaviors we see in dogs are heavily influenced by their genetics. As a trainer in the past, I was often hired to “fix” certain behaviors. Admittedly, I initially followed my clients’ requests without fully considering the dog’s innate traits. Over time, however, I’ve come to appreciate and embrace each dog for who they truly are, rather than trying to mold them into something they’re not.

This is just the beginning of a thought process I want to share. Scroll to see where my mind is headed with this. I’m passionate about educating others because real change doesn’t come from judgment or ridicule—it comes from understanding and knowledge.

•2nd Annual Luna The Psycho Fundraiser Pack walk. Saturday 11/16 11:00AM- 1:00PM James J. Braddock Park, North Bergen.

This event is free but donations are welcomed. 100% of the proceeds will go to a local dog rescue. This is a judgement free Pack walk, no on leash greetings, no flexi leashes, Reactive Dogs welcome. You do not have to be a client to join us.

• Social Neutrality Hour. Sunday 11/24 4:00- 6:00PM. Free event, Open to all, you do not need to be a client to join us. Bring your own drinks, complimentary food on us. Take this opportunity to meet the team and ask us questions.

At Supreme K9, we prioritize using the right tools for each dog’s individual needs. Our training methods include a variety of tools, such as prong collars, e-collars, muzzles, fur savers, dominant dog collars, and bark collars. However, our approach is never “one size fits all.” We focus on what works best for each dog, aiming to stay as fair and balanced as possible while ensuring the dog’s well-being.

It’s surprising when potential clients say, “We want to work with you, but don’t use this tool on our dog.” If you’re not open to the tools we believe are necessary for your dog’s progress, then we might not be the right fit. Our priority is the dog’s success, and that means using the appropriate methods and tools for each unique situation.

10/27/24 10:00AM- 11:30AM AKC Canine Good Citizen Test! This event is also for alumni only. If you have done a Day School, Home School or Private Lesson program with us, I highly encourage you to test your skills. If you pass, your dog will be a Canine Good Citizen with the American Kennel Club. MORE DETAILS & SING UP IS IN THE LINK IN BIO!

10/31/24 Day School / Train & Plays Hours. This is for those currently in the program or who have already secured their T&P day. You can dress up your dogs for our fun in-house Halloween Party. We will be taking pictures and doing a little friendly competition so make sure to get creative with your Dogs costume.

Happy 8th Birthday to my big poppa Lobo!

I’ve been sitting here looking for the words to express my love and gratitude to this boy but I can’t find the words. The only words that comes to mind is unconditional and immense.

Lobo came to my life shy of 4 months old. We’ve been through a lot together! Through it all his ability to ground me and help me with my mental health has been instrumental. He keeps me going.

This 8th birthday has me feeling a bit emotional. I didn’t know why. But in looking deeper we all know our lives with our dogs are short. He’s technically considered a senior now 😖. But that’s not it! It dawned on me 2 more years for his retirement! I got Lakota to take over for him as my service dog, it didn’t hit me then. But today out of all days I realized he’s going to be a pet dog very soon. So when I say we’ve been through a lot together I mean it lol.

It’s not bad it’s just reality setting in 😅. As my therapist said, don’t view this as a negative, this is a positive passing of the baton. He deserves to retire. As much as I don’t want him too lol.

Anyways! I love you Lobo thank you for being you! Here’s to more years of companionship 😘
