We are looking to expand our grooming services at Sunchaser Kennels by adding a part-time groomer to our team! Right now we have one full-time groomer, Savanna, who has been doing a wonderful job! We are looking for someone who has experience with grooming, has received a certification or completed training in grooming, and is a team player. At Sunchaser Kennels we offer spacious indoor/outdoor kennels for dogs to enjoy. Dogs can freely hangout in their heated/air conditioned indoor kennel space or take time to appreciate some fresh air on the outside portion of their kennel. We offer one-on-one playtime and snuggle time for dogs to get individualized attention. Dogs can soak up some love from our kennel technicians and get their energy out in our fenced in grass yards.

Meet our Kennel Technician, Shaelyn!

“Hi! I’m Shaelyn and this is my dog, Chief. I’ve been working at Sunchaser for about a year. I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve always loved being around animals ever since I was a kid. Ever since then, I knew that I wanted to work with animals. I also pet sit for local families and have been doing that for about 3 years. Chief is my big 1 year old Cane Corso/Rottweiler mix. He loves going for car rides, coming to work with me, going for walks and destroying every toy I buy him 🙃. I also have 4 cats at home that Chief likes to chase around the house. I graduated from Linganore High School in 2022 and played field hockey all four years. Now I’m in my second semester at FCC and I’m majoring in Business Management to hopefully open my own dog kennel/daycare facility in the future. A few things I enjoy doing are shopping, hanging with my friends and family, going to the gym, and fishing.”
