I started my career training working breeds and protection dogs with a private training company, and at rescues on the West Coast. Then I progressed to Vermont, training under and alongside Tom Radford’s 20+ years of experience with police K-9s. I combine the police dog training techniques with my previous experience in my business today. Go Darren Go! Huge strides with this little Dude, and very proud of this team! When you put in the work the results speak for themselves. Yesterday was the last of 5 sessions with Darren and we got so much awesome feedback on his progress and life with his family! Kudos!!

🚨 Fireworks Alert – New Year’s Eve 🚨

Montpelier at 9:00pm.
Burlington at 8:00pm
Middlebury at 6:30pm

Many area ski resorts are also planning on fireworks, including Killington, Sugarbush, Smuggler’s Notch, and others.

Please remember that fireworks can be extremely stressful and frightening for pets. Now is the time to plan ahead:

🐾 Keep pets indoors and secured
🐾 Update ID tags and microchip info
🐾 Close curtains to reduce noise/light
🐾 Provide a safe, quiet space
🐾 Talk to your vet if your pet needs extra support
🐾 Make sure pets get a litt extra exercise
🐾 Have a special long lasting snack ready

Even confident dogs can panic when fireworks start unexpectedly. Let’s keep our pets safe, calm, and home where they belong as we ring in the New Year. ❤️🐶🐱
