Aren’t color genetics fascinating? Genetically these two Soul Wind foals are the same — both Ee Aa n/CR D dunskins — but look at the difference in their phenotypes. Same recipe, two completely different colors. I love the tone and shade of Echo, she looks just like Vasallo. I am so excited to see what Geno looks like after his first foal shed!

I am proud to introduce the first 2026 foal in our intentionally very small foal crop — Geno SW, our first purebred son of Acero SW and our beautiful imported mare Alzina.
Geno is a rare true dunskin carrying red. In the PRE breed, so far to my knowledge, the true dun gene has only been found to still remain in one line — the gene we are working to preserve in our program. He is only the second foal sired by my stallion Acero SW and I am over the moon for him. Acero is producing phenomenal offspring.
So much work, patience, prayer, and hope went into bringing him here. Meeting him for the first time filled me with pride and so much gratitude. He is a true miracle — one that required more faith and perseverance than I have words to explain.
He is a stunning c**t with strong, beautiful movement, impressive bone, and the traditional type and conformation of both of his parents. Already very cheeky, extremely intelligent, sensitive, bold, and full of life — exactly what we strive for and treasure in our Spanish horses.
Welcome to the world, Geno. You were worth every moment of the wait and truly meant to be here.
