Today's big project was to move my horse trailer from the property were Bart is recovering back to the property where my other 4 horses are staying now. To my surprise when we pulled the trailer in, the horses were calling in to my ears an unusual for them sound. I believe they were calling a greeting to Bart, whom they thought was in the trailer, then when I was not able to produce him, they were very disappointed.

I have to wonder what they must think, first we took Wu Chi in the trailer and he did not return. Then the 5 of them moved together, and we took Bart away in the trailer and to date he has not returned.

The good news is that I think I may have a solution which will allow the 5 to be re-united and at one very happy place where Bart is already making friends both two and four-legged.

Horses and dogs, always so very interesting to me.

Sue the owner of Unicorn Press is the daughter of my friend Pat La Marche with whom I placed Tootsie from the Hurley Animal Shelter with the help of Delilah Huerta. I was so sorry to hear this morning that Pat suffered a broken hip recently and was separated from Tootsie, which I understand was traumatic for both of them. Pat was able to come home on June 1, but her recovery is going to be uphill. Please keep my dear friend Pat and Tootsie in your thoughts and prayers
