Meet Kitty.
We were recently contacted by a local animal control facility about a sweet dog who had been picked up as a stray with a severely broken front leg. We now call her Kitty.
When she arrived, she was pitiful and clearly in tremendous pain. As if her injury wasn’t enough, she was also battling an upper respiratory infection that had to be treated before surgery could even be considered.
After exams and x-rays, our shelter vet made the difficult decision that Kitty’s leg could not be saved. The break was too severe, and amputation was the only way to relieve her pain and give her a chance at a happy, comfortable life.
Despite everything she has been through, Kitty is incredibly sweet and deserving of a second chance. She is now recovering, learning how to navigate life on three legs, and finally getting the love and care she deserves.
We are asking for your help to cover Kitty’s medical expenses, including her X-rays and diagnostics, treatment for her upper respiratory infection, surgery and post-operative care, and medications and recovery support.
No donation is too small, and every dollar helps us continue saying “yes” to dogs like Kitty who have nowhere else to turn.
If you are able to donate, please do. If you can’t donate, sharing this post means the world to us and to Kitty. ❤️
Thank you for supporting rescue dogs in need and helping Kitty begin her new life pain-free.
