🌟 Big News at Crooked Creek! 🌟

We are so excited to officially introduce Ace, our new stud and the newest member of our bloodhound family! 🐾❤️
Ace has fit in with us beautifully, he’s gentle, loyal, and built with that classic bloodhound strength and structure we love so much. His scent drive, calm temperament, and all-around good nature make him an incredible addition to our pack.

And even bigger news…

🎉 We’re expecting a new litter in early January! 🎉

This will be Ace’s first litter with us, and we couldn’t be more excited to see the amazing puppies he will produce.

🐾✨ All Our Puppies Are Home! ✨🐾

What a joyful season this has been! Every single one of our sweet pups has officially gone to their forever families. 💛 Watching them grow, meet their new people, and wag those little tails on pickup days has been such a blessing.

Thank you to each family who opened their hearts and homes! These puppies couldn’t have asked for more love. 🏡🐶💖

We’ll treasure the memories from this litter, and we can’t wait to follow along as they grow into loyal, goofy, and wonderful companions.

🐾 8 Week Puppy Update from Crooked Creek Bloodhounds 🐾

It’s hard to believe, but the time has come our sweet, floppy-eared babies are officially 8 weeks old and preparing to go home to their forever families this weekend! 🖤

Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen these pups grow from curious little explorers into confident, loving companions full of personality and charm. Each one has their own quirks, favorite toys, and silly habits and we’re going to miss them terribly!

Here’s a quick final update before we say our goodbyes:

✨ Temperament & Socialization
This litter has been one of the most well-rounded we’ve ever raised. We’ve continued working on gentle desensitization to common sounds (vacuums, thunder, doors closing), as well as early introduction to little ones and even of inside/ outside cat (but he keeps his distance) They’re eating independently, exploring boldly, and are showing strong signs of intelligence and loyalty, everything you’d want in a bloodhound companion.

🛏️ Nap Schedules & Potty Habits
Each pup is normally going potty right after waking, playing, and eating. They’re not house trained (that takes time!), but they’ve laid a great foundation. Families, keep those routines consistent and you’ll see success quickly!

🦴 Feeding & Comfort
They’re currently eating 2x per day and will be going home with a starter bag of the food we’ve used. We’re also sending each puppy home with a special comfort item that smells like their siblings and mama to help with the transition...it’s a small thing, but it makes a big difference those first few nights.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 New Families, Be Ready
This weekend marks a big new chapter for you and your pup. Expect some excitement, some nerves, and a lot of love. These early days are for bonding, establishing trust, and lots of gentle redirection. Remember while bloodhounds are brilliant, they can also be stubborn! Patience and consistency will be your best tools.

Thank you to all of our new families for trusting us and preparing your hearts and homes for these babies. Raising a litter is no small task, but it’s always worth it when we know they’re heading off to be cherished, trained, and loved.

🐾 7 Week Puppy Update 🐾

We know we’re a little off track this week since we missed our 6-week update—holiday travels had us tied up! Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding. 💛

The pups are now 7 weeks old and growing fast! Their personalities are shining through more each day, very playful, curious, and full of love. It’s such a fun stage watching them explore, wrestle with their siblings, and soak up all the attention they can get.

We’ll be back on schedule with our updates from here forward and can’t wait to share more as they get closer to heading to their new homes. 🐶✨

🐾 5 Week Puppy Update 🐾

First, we want to apologize for the delay in sharing this week’s update. As many of you know, our family recently suffered a great loss, and it has taken us a little extra time to gather ourselves. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

That being said, we are so happy to let you know that all of the puppies are doing wonderfully! At 5 weeks old, they are full of energy, curiosity, and personality. They’re growing quickly, playing with one another, and learning new little things every day.

It won’t be long now...just a few short weeks until they’ll be ready to head off to their forever homes. We know you’re excited, and we can’t wait for each of you to meet your sweet pup and welcome them into your family.

💔 In Loving Memory of Conan 💔

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Conan.We still can not make sense of this tragedy and likley never will. He wasn’t just a cornerstone of our bloodline,he was our family. Conan embodied everything we love about the bloodhound breed: loyalty, gentleness, and an unshakable bond with those he loved.

From his puppy days to becoming the strong, steady soul of our home, Conan carried himself with a noble spirit. He was protective yet tender, playful yet wise beyond his years. To us, he wasn’t just one of our hounds, he was a true companion who taught us patience, love, and resilience.

For those who have followed our journey, you know Conan held a special place in Crooked Creek Bloodhounds. His legacy will live on in the generations to come, but most importantly, in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

We are grateful for the love and memories he gave us, and though our hearts are heavy with ache, we take comfort in knowing his spirit runs free.

🐾 Crooked Creek Bloodhounds — 3 Week Puppy Update 🐾

Our sweet litter has hit the 3-week milestone! Their little personalities are starting to shine, and they’re getting more curious every day. Eyes and ears are fully open now, and they’re beginning to toddle around and explore their surroundings (with plenty of adorable wobbles along the way).

We’ve introduced short playtimes outside of the whelping area so they can start experiencing new sights, sounds, and smells. They’ve also begun tasting puppy mush, which is always a messy — but exciting — step in their growth!

Each puppy is growing at their own pace, and we’re keeping a close watch to make sure everyone is healthy and thriving. They’re enjoying lots of cuddles, gentle handling, and early socialization so they’ll be well-prepared for their future families.

They’re wiggly, warm, and growing stronger by the day, snuggling close to mama and starting to show hints of their unique personalities.

🐾✨ 1 Week Old Today! ✨🐾
We can’t believe it’s already been a whole week since this precious litter made their debut into the world! 💛

These little bloodhound babes are growing fast with tiny noses twitching, bellies full, and already showing hints of their personalities. They still spend most of their time snuggled up dreaming (probably of milk and mischief), but each day they grow stronger and more curious.

We’re soaking up every sweet squeak, stretch, and sleepy cuddle. 💕

🐾 Pupdate! 🐾

We’re thrilled to share that Momma and all 8 beautiful puppies are doing great! She delivered 5 girls and 3 boys, and everyone is healthy and thriving. 💕

🎉 All 3 boys are currently reserved, but as always, this can be subject to change—sometimes families shift plans or change their minds, so feel free to reach out if you're hoping for a male pup and want to be on standby!

We still have females available and will begin contacting those on our reservation list in a few weeks. Stay tuned for more adorable updates and photos as these little houndlets grow! 🐶💛
