Not quite bird hunting but I love letting them try new things out. Here's to training!

UBT TX Blood Tracking Seminar Recap:
Apollo and I got to go learn about wounded game recovery (mainly deer) and got to put it to the test!
He did well during the practice trail and was able to get to the hide.
During the UBT 1 test, he was adamant that he was not up to it and we ended up calling it off early.

I rarely ever test without full blown preparations but I wanted to try it out so I can learn about it in detail and make my mistakes while I had someone there to give me constructive feedback. Things that I felt he was going to be deficient in is what we ended up seeing so that's good to see!

Both of us learned a lot and met some wonderful people along the way! We were fortunate enough to acquire some training kit from a generous couple we met and already got plans to train for the next seminar!

We shall see how it all goes by the next seminar! 😁 Here's to learning! ❤️

It was a chilly weekend but we all worked hard and made progress on showing! It was wonderful seeing some of my old friends and making new friends as well ❤️❤️
