While I’m away, the free-to-me contractor is in charge of the mercantile.

He says, and I quote: “Ok I will stock. I’ll send you a pic afterwards so you can market accordingly. I can’t do your fancy videos though.”

So, we are stocked with eggs and all cakes are $1.00 because I overbake!!

Good morning, everyone!

Fresh eggs will be heading to the Mini Mercantile around 12:00 PM today. Baked goods will be limited this weekend to fresh cookies and freshly baked Hawaiian Breeze and Lemon Crumble Cakes. I hope to provide more sweet treats tomorrow, but for today, there simply aren't enough hours in the day for me to spend most of it baking. I never want to compromise on quality, and if I can't make it fresh, I'm not going to sell it.

I've got a long list of projects to tackle around the house, a garden space that still needs planted, we also need to make a chicken feed run today so if you stop by and I miss you, I'm sorry!

What we do have is a great selection from some of your favorite local producers! You'll find fresh cookies from Chunky Monkey Sweets , pantry staples from Greybeard.shop and Firstfruit Flour LLC, freeze dried fruit from TC Treats LLC, Aroma of the Andes Coffee and Daniels Maple Syrup, fresh eggs, honey, and a few other goodies.

Hey friends! Or, should I say HAY friends!

We have to make a hay run for Yipper and Frosty this evening so we won't be stocking the Mercantile until tomorrow morning.

There are fresh cookies from Chunky Monkey Sweets , and your favorite staples from Greybeard.shop and Firstfruit Flour LLC, along with freeze dried fruit from TC Treats LLC. We have Aroma of the Andes Coffee and Daniels Maple Syrup as well!

We still have a few left in the Mercantile!

So the biscoff and strawberry cheesecake NY style cookies were a huge hit at the South Charleston Farmers Market this weekend so those will be back, I will be adding more of the NY style cookies to the menu. I’m going to be making the Cookie Monster and Oreo cookies and cream. I will also have strawberry, lemon and blueberry /lemon loaf cakes the slices available at the market next weekend.

I prioritize being a person who champions for others. I want to promote and support others. I want YOU to find success. Yep.. even if it’s more than mine. However, this post is not about that.

Today, we remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our nation, and the families who carry their memory forward. Please remember today as a day that many families are missing someone special at their tables.

Reminder: The Mercantile will not be stocked with baked goods this weekend. There are eggs, shelf stable items, and lots of good things still available so feel free to shop!
