Read below to find out if you’re ready for a ragdoll!
Do you love having a little shadow friend? Ragdolls love to play with YOU. They’re not great at entertaining themselves and they just wanna be around you and the family.
When you get a ragdoll, they’re not adjusting to your home, you’re adjusting your home to them! This may include adding pieces of furniture or removing furniture that does not fit a cat lifestyle.
If you want a cuddly ragdoll respect cat body cues. Learn cat language & they cuddle with the person they choose! Be there when they would like attention :). Adjusting your life may also means adjusting your sleep & home scheduleto accommodate them! They are cats after all!
Most Ragdolls love to chat and talk back with you. This could mean meowing for your attention or if you lock them out of a bedroom door they will want to be with you. They can also be very food motivated meaning that they will tell you when they are hungry.
One of the best parts of owning a ragdoll is how much they will love your guests! They are not shy and will greet them with lots of pets and purring.
A healthy diet for a ragdoll includes high-quality protein & moisture rich food. This includes $80-$100+ a month on their food bill alone. Only the best for our Ragdolls so they can live a really long time!
You must brush your ragdoll’s teeth daily. This is non-negotiable! The stress organ of cats is their kidneys. Kidney failure is the leading cause of cat death. Gingivitis causes stress & can cause kidney damage. 30 seconds a day keeps the plaque away!
Majority of our Ragdolls have a super easy non-matting coat requiring minimal brushing. 😍
While you do not have to have two cats,
ragdolls are social animals and thrive with having a buddy. Other pets or humans do not replace this type of connection. You do not have to have two in the same age or the same breed. I suggest matching energy levels & usually same genders do better :).
Are you ready for the joy of a ragdoll? 🙃
