Nancy Girl. Don't mind her wild head I haven't decided what to do just yet!

I've been on a break this last year due to health issues and chronic illness. They affect many many things but one things being my hands. Swollen stiff hands, scissors and a live animal is a no go. I need to react quickly. So I don't groom if I'm not in good shape.

I have been grooming some of my favorites and regulars throughout. They have all been so understanding if I can't that day and need to reschedule.

I'm still grooming but a select few, and my client list is short. I plan to take on a few more as things go.

Anyways Nancy got a true makeover. She is looking good.

About Me:
Hey My name is Carissa and I am a local dog groomer.
I am an animal lover, and have worked in many settings over the years such as rescue, pet sitting, daycare, boarding and now grooming.
I've worked with a huge variation of dog behaviors and personalities.
I don't say this makes me an expert, or even a certified dog trainer by any means, but I do have experience and empathy for many walks of life.

I am a boy mom which keeps me super busy, when I'm not on my feet you can catch me relaxing and getting that self care in.
I have a misfit pack of dogs of my own, all have come to me from different backgrounds, they are all at different points of their learning and healing journeys.

Grooming is my newest journey, over 2 years in, starting as a bather and working my way up. I love grooming, from the comfort groom to a gorgeous poodle cuts. Also don't forget those absolutely satisfying undercoat blow outs.
