Holiday décor can be tempting for curious pets.

Tinsel, ribbon, ornament fragments, and electrical cords are common causes of foreign body ingestion, GI upset, and injuries this time of year.

If something seems off — vomiting, drooling, pawing at the mouth, or changes in behavior — come in right away. We’re open 24/7 for Emergency and Critical Care throughout the holiday weekend. 🎄🐾

The holidays are full of cheer — but sometimes they bring hidden risks for pets. Sparkly décor, rich food, excited guests, and open doors can turn a cozy celebration into a pet emergency. 🎄🐾

Before the chaos starts, take a moment to pet-proof your home:
• Keep decorations, wires, and plants out of reach
• Skip unsafe foods (chocolate, fatty scraps, table bones)
• Secure doors and exits so pets can’t slip out
• Create a safe, quiet spot for anxious or overwhelmed pets

If your pet starts vomiting, seems lethargic, shows signs of distress, or ingests something dangerous — don’t wait. Our team is ready.
