🧑⚕️ Meet Dr. Kyle Walker, DVM, DACVS (Small Animal)
Dr. Walker was awarded Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2023. Originally from Rochester, NY, he earned his DVM from Cornell University before completing a rotating surgical specialty internship in Dallas, and a small animal surgical residency in Virgnia.
His expertise spans both orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, with professional interests including complex fracture repair, TPLO procedures, abdominal and thoracic surgery, oncologic surgery, and minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopy and arthroscopy. He has also published research on perioperative pain management and TPLO procedures, and is an active member of AO VET North America, the Veterinary Endoscopy Society, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
💙 Outside of surgery, Dr. Walker enjoys skiing, cycling, golfing, and playing piano and guitar. He and his wife — a veterinary dermatologist — share their home with a black lab, Huxley, and a cat, Mrs. Doubtfire.
