ADOPTION OPPORTUNITY!
Arwen is about 2 years old, spayed, and vaccinated. Arwen is not a hyper or overly active cat. Arwen also likes to do things on her terms. In other words, when she wants love she will let you know, and when she wants to be left alone she will let you know. The ideal situation for Arwen would be a home where she is the only pet and the home life is a pretty quiet one. Arwen does not like other cats and will tolerate some dogs. Arwen also does not generally do well with kids. Arwen is a good cat that is looking for a loving home that will also respect her boundaries.
If you are interested, want to know more, or have questions, feel free to contact us through email, phone, or social media.

BREED SPOTLIGHT: Siberian Husky

The Husky is a cute, fluffy, and friendly breed that has dramatic personalities. But the Husky is so much more than a fluffy friend. The husky is a working dog that was bred for enduring freezing weather and pulling cargo. Huskies require daily exercise in order to burn off their extra energy they were bred to have. Being a working dog, Huskies also benefit from structure and discipline. Dog training can help Huskies be less reactive to small animals and children. Dog training can also help control some of the energy by preventing leash pulling.

Flea control is a battle that every pet owner deals with. Most owners use the topical liquid that is at the local store. But sometimes that isn’t enough. The topical and oral flea treatments are great at eliminating fleas but that is only after the flea bites your pet. Animals with flea allergies are known to continue to itch way after the initial flea bite. Also pets can continue to get fleas from their environment from local stray cats.
This is where non-toxic insect growth regulators can help. Insect growth regulators are non-toxic and can be used indoors. Insect growth regulators prevent fleas from becoming adults and reproducing. This way you can safely eliminate fleas from your environment.
For more information feel free to call us or contact your local vet.

Breed Spotlight: Chihuahua

The Chihuahua is a cute little breed know for being “pocket” or “purse” dogs. But the Chihuahua is much more than a cute accessory. They are smart and loyal companions devoted to protecting what they love. Many people neglect training because it is easier to just pick up the tiny dog rather than correct unwanted behavior. But chihuahuas are just like any other dog breed and require structure, routine, and exercise.
