Equine Partnership Training

I took Top to Gena Frey clinic at Equine Training Partnership in Tum Tum Saturday. Obstacles and de-spooking. There was a couple of things I really wasn't entirely sure how Top would do. Rather than find out in the field I thought I would Go test him out and get some professional assistance with anything we got hung up on. There were definitely a couple of things we worked on but by the time we were done I could open an umbrella and swing it around while on his back. Literally. Her course is nicely put together and well designed with water obstacles and portal streamers and pretty much anything you can imagine to intentionally spook a horse.

She made it around to everybody anytime she saw anybody stutter or hang up on an obstacle. I won't repeat her cave analogy she made to the group but I had never really considered that particular process before. You made a lot of sense.

Also met some great ladies and their horses. Definitely got to say something about that tall black wavy haired Friesian. Wow! Beautiful horse.

Hey friends and new friends to meet …… I got to thinking that for 2026 maybe a few of you would like to know a little more information about me. Where my love for horses started , who I have learned from , what I enjoy doing with my horses and where is my passion .❤️❤️

A little information about myself and were I gained my horsemanship knowledge . Starting at a young age I fell in love with horses and cleaned many horse stalls in trade for lessons from an old timer cowboy . I competed in barrel racing , speed events , and any cow events available.
My passion for training horses really began in my 30’s and I started the journey to learn from local trainers and as many top world trainers as possible . A few of those world trainers that I was lucky enough to ride and learn from are Clinton Anderson , Mustang Maddy , Chris Cox, Carson James, Shawna Kuresch , Sam Vanfleet.
I often mix natural horsemanship (pressure and release ) along side positive reinforcement ( clicker training)
Working with wild mustangs has become a passion of mine .
I have a passion for Helping people learn better communication with their horses that leads to a fun and trusting partnership together. I personally enjoy trail riding , challenging myself and my horses with different obstacles and still dabbling in some barrels and other gaming events , On my bucket list is breakaway roping .
